Answer
✅Answer: Please pay attention to the following narrations:
📚 Al-Tahdheeb, Vol. 1, p. 267
Imam Baqir or Imam Sadiq, peace be upon them, regarding semen that gets on a garment, said: If you know its location, wash it, and if it is hidden from you, wash the entire garment!
📚 Al-Tahdheeb, Vol. 1, p. 252
Anbasa said: I asked Imam Sadiq, peace be upon him, about semen that gets on a garment and he does not know its location. He said: He washes the entire garment, and if he knows its place, he must wash it!
📚 Al-Kafi, Vol. 3, p. 53
Maysir said: I said to Imam Sadiq, peace be upon him: I instruct the maidservant to wash my garment from semen, but she does not make a full effort in washing it, and I pray in it, and suddenly I see that (the semen) has remained dry (on the garment). The Imam said: Repeat your prayer. But if you had washed it yourself, there would have been nothing (to repeat this prayer) upon you!
✅Based on the above narrations and others, to purify a garment stained with semen, it is first necessary to strive in washing it with water so that no trace of the impurity remains, and the semen is completely removed. After this is achieved, since no specific number of times for its purification is mentioned in the well-known narrations, by soaking and squeezing it once and removing the rinse water, the washing mentioned in the narrations is achieved, and the garment is purified.
