1 From Abi Abdillah (peace be upon him), who said: 'Whoever recites Ayat al-Kursi, Allah will avert from him a thousand misfortunes of this world, the least of which is poverty, and a thousand misfortunes of the Hereafter, the least of which is the torment of the grave.'

Translation: Imam Sadiq (peace be upon him) said: 'Whoever recites Ayat al-Kursi, Allah will avert from him a thousand misfortunes (hardships and unpleasant things) of this world, the least of which is poverty, and a thousand misfortunes and hardships of the Hereafter, the least of which is the torment of the grave.'

Translation: Imam Baqir (peace be upon him) said: 'The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him and his family) said to Ali (peace be upon him): O Ali, you must recite Ayat al-Kursi after every obligatory prayer, for no one guards over it except a prophet, a truthful one, or a martyr.'
3 حَمَّادِ بْنِ عُثْمَانَ قَالَ: قُلْتُ لِأَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ أَ يُكْرَهُ السَّفَرُ فِي شَيْءٍ مِنَ الْأَيَّامِ الْمَكْرُوهَةِ الْأَرْبِعَاءِ و غَيْرِهِ فَقَالَ افْتَتِحْ سَفَرَكَ بِالصَّدَقَةِ و اقْرَأْ آيَةَ الْكُرْسِيِ إِذَا بَدَا لَكَ

Translation: Hammad ibn Uthman said: 'I said to Imam Sadiq (peace be upon him): Is it disliked to travel on disliked days (like Wednesday and others)? He said: Start your journey with charity and when you are about to travel, recite Ayat al-Kursi.'
4 عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ قَالَ: إِذَا كَانَ الْبَيْتُ فَوْق ثَمَانِيَ أَذْرُعٍ فَاكْتُبْ عَلَيْهِ آيَةَ الْكُرْسِيِ

Translation: Imam Sadiq (peace be upon him) said: 'When the height of a house is more than 8 cubits (a cubit is about 52 cm), write Ayat al-Kursi on its wall.'
5 عَمْرِو بْن جُمَيْع رَفَعَه إِلَى عَلِيِّ بْن الْحُسَيْنِ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ مَنْ قَرَأَ أَرْبَعَ آيَاتٍ مِنْ أَوَّلِ الْبَقَرَةِ وَ آيَةَ الْكُرْسِيِ وَ آيَتَيْنِ بَعْدَهَا وَ ثَلَاثَ آيَاتٍ مِنْ آخِرِهَا لَمْ يَرَ فِي نَفْسِهِ وَ مَالِهِ شَيْئاً يَكْرَهُهُ وَ لَا يَقْرَبُهُ شَيْطَانٌ وَ لَا يَنْسَى الْقُرْآن

Translation: Imam Sajjad (peace be upon him) said: 'The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him and his family) said: Whoever recites the first 4 verses of Surah al-Baqarah, and Ayat al-Kursi, and the 2 verses after it, and the last three verses of Surah al-Baqarah, he will not see anything unpleasant regarding his life or his wealth, and Satan will not come near him, and he will not forget the Quran.'
6 عَنْ رَجُلٍ سَمِعَ أَبَا الْحَسَنِ يَقُولُ مَنْ قَرَأَ آيَةَ الْكُرْسِيِ عِنْدَ مَنَامِهِ لَمْ يَخَفِ الْفَالِجَ إِنْ شَاءَ اللَّه

Translation: Imam Rida (peace be upon him) said: 'Whoever recites Ayat al-Kursi when he sleeps, he will not fear the pain of paralysis, if Allah wills.'
7 عَنْ عَلِيٍّ قَالَ قَالَ النَّبِيُّ مَنْ قَرَأَ آيَةَ الْكُرْسِيِ مِائَةَ مَرَّةٍ كَانَ كَمَنْ عَبَدَ اللَّهَ طُولَ حَيَاتِهِ

Translation: Imam Rida (peace be upon him) said: 'Whoever recites Ayat al-Kursi 100 times is as if he has worshipped God throughout his life.'
8 عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ سِنَانٍ، عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ عَلَيْهِ السَّلَامُ قَالَ: إِنَّ لِكُلِّ شَيْءٍ ذِرْوَةً و ذِرْوَةُ الْقُرْآنِ آيَةُ الْكُرْسِيِ، مَنْ قَرَأَ آيَةَ الْكُرْسِيِّ مَرَّةً، صَرَفَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ أَلْفَ مَكْرُوهٍ مِنْ مَكَارِهِ الدُّنْيَا و أَلْفَ مَكْرُوهٍ مِنْ مَكَارِهِ الْآخِرَةِ، أَيْسَرُ مَكْرُوهِ الدُّنْيَا الْفَقْرُ و أَيْسَرُ مَكْرُوهِ الْآخِرَةِ عَذَابُ الْقَبْرِ، و إِنِّي لَأَسْتَعِينُ بِهَا عَلَى صُعُودِ الدَّرَجَةِ
📚 Tafsir Ayyashi, Vol. 1, p. 136
Translation: Imam Sadiq (peace be upon him) said: 'Indeed, everything has a peak and a top, and the highest verse of the Quran is Ayat al-Kursi. Whoever recites Ayat al-Kursi once, Allah will avert from him a thousand misfortunes (evil and hardship) of the misfortunes of this world, the least of which is poverty, and a thousand unpleasant things of the unpleasant things of the Hereafter, the least of which is the torment of the grave. And indeed, I seek help from Ayat al-Kursi to ascend a step (or a ladder) (or to ascend in rank).'
9 Imam Sadiq (peace be upon him) said: 'When you see something you fear, recite Ayat al-Kursi.'
