Hasan ibn Rashid said: I said to Imam al-Sadiq (peace be upon him): People say that forgiveness for one who fasts in the month of Ramadan descends on the Night of Qadr!
The Imam said: O Hasan! Indeed, the wage of a worker is given when he finishes his work! This matter is on the night of Eid al-Fitr. I said: May I be sacrificed for you! What is it proper for us to do then? He said: When the sun sets, perform 'ghusl' (ritual bath), and when you have performed the three 'rak'ahs' of the Maghrib prayer, raise your hands and say:
یَا ذَا الْمَنِّ یَا ذَا الطَّوْلِ یَا ذَا الْجُودِ یَا مُصْطَفِیاً مُحَمَّداً وَ نَاصِرَهُ صَلِّ عَلَی مُحَمَّدٍ وَ آلِهِ وَ اغْفِرْ لِی کُلَّ ذَنْبٍ أَذْنَبْتُهُ أَحْصَیْتَهُ عَلَیَّ وَ نَسِیتُهُ وَ هُوَ عِنْدَکَ فِی کِتَابِکَ
Then you go into prostration and while in prostration, you say a hundred times: 'I turn to Allah in repentance' and ask for your needs!
2 عَنِ الْحَارِثِ الْأَعْوَرِ: أَنَّ أَمِیرَ الْمُؤْمِنِینَ علیه السلام کَانَ یُصَلِّی لَیْلَةَ الْفِطْرِ بَعْدَ الْمَغْرِبِ وَ نَافِلَتِهَا رَکْعَتَیْنِ یَقْرَأُ فِی الْأُولَی فَاتِحَةَ الْکِتَابِ وَ مِائَةَ مَرَّةٍ قُلْ هُوَ اللَّهُ أَحَدٌ وَ فِی الثَّانِیَةِ فَاتِحَةَ الْکِتَابِ وَ قُلْ هُوَ اللَّهُ أَحَدٌ مَرَّةً ثُمَّ یَقْنُتُ وَ یَرْکَعُ وَ یَسْجُدُ وَ یُسَلِّمُ ثُمَّ یَخِرُّ لِلَّهِ سَاجِداً وَ یَقُولُ فِی سُجُودِهِ أَتُوبُ إِلَی اللَّهِ مِائَةَ مَرَّةٍ ثُمَّ یَقُولُ وَ الَّذِی نَفْسِی بِیَدِهِ لَا یَفْعَلُهَا أَحَدٌ فَیَسْأَلَ اللَّهَ تَعَالَی شَیْئاً إِلَّا أَعْطَاهُ وَ لَوْ أَتَی مِنَ الذُّنُوبِ مِثْلَ رَمْلِ عَالِجٍ

Harith al-A'war narrated that the Commander of the Faithful (peace be upon him) on the night of Eid al-Fitr, after the Maghrib prayer and its 'nafilah' (supererogatory prayers), would perform two 'rak'ahs' of prayer. In the first 'rak'ah' he would recite 'Surah Al-Hamd' and 'Surah Al-Tawhid' a hundred times, and in the second 'rak'ah' 'Al-Hamd' and 'Al-Tawhid' once, and then he would perform a 'qunut', 'ruku', and 'sajdah' and give 'salam', and then he would fall into prostration for Allah and say in prostration a hundred times: 'I turn to Allah in repentance'
And he would say: By Him in whose hand my soul is, no one does this and asks from Allah, except that it is given to him, even if he has sinned as much as heaps of sand!
3 غِیَاثِ بْنِ إِبْرَاهِیمَ عَنْ جَعْفَرِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ أَبِیهِ علیه السلام قَالَ: کَانَ عَلِیُّ بْنُ الْحُسَیْنِ علیه السلام یُحْیِی لَیْلَةَ عِیدِ الْفِطَرِ بِصَلَاةٍ حَتَّی یُصْبِحَ وَ یَبِیتُ لَیْلَةَ الْفِطْرِ فِی الْمَسْجِدِ وَ یَقُولُ یَا بُنَیَّ مَا هِیَ بِدُونِ لَیْلَةٍ یَعْنِی لَیْلَةَ الْقَدْرِ

Imam al-Sadiq (peace be upon him) narrated from his father that he said: Imam al-Sajjad (peace be upon him) would keep the night of Eid al-Fitr awake with prayer until morning and would spend the night of Eid al-Fitr in the mosque, and he would say: This is no less than the Night of Qadr!
