✅Answer: Please pay attention to the following narrations:

📚 Al-Faqih Vol. 2, p. 83

📚 Al-Kafi Vol. 4, p. 94

Imam al-Sadiq (peace be upon him) was asked about fasting two Thursdays with a Wednesday in between; he said: As for Thursday, it is a day on which deeds are presented, and as for Wednesday, it is a day on which hell was created, and as for the fast itself, it is a shield (from the fire of hell)!

📚 Al-Faqih Vol. 2, p. 83

Ibn Sinan said: Imam al-Sadiq (peace be upon him) said to me: When there are two Thursdays at the beginning of the month, fast the first one, for that is better, and when there are two Thursdays at the end of the month, fast the last one, for that is better!

📚 Al-Faqih Vol. 2, p. 85

Sheikh Saduq said: It has been narrated from the Scholar (peace be upon him) that he was asked about two Thursdays that occur at the end of the month; so he said: Fast the first one, for you might not reach the second one!

📚 Al-Faqih Vol. 2, p. 84

Zurarah said: I said to Imam al-Sadiq (peace be upon him): What tradition has been established regarding fasting? He said: Three days in every month: Thursday of the first ten days of the month, Wednesday of the middle ten days, and Thursday of the last ten days!

I said: Is this all that the tradition has been established for regarding fasting? He said: Yes!

📚 Al-Khisal p. 606

Imam al-Sadiq (peace be upon him) said: Fasting three days in every month is a tradition, and it is the fasting of two Thursdays with a Wednesday in between: the first Thursday of the first ten days of the month, and the Wednesday of the middle ten days, and the last Thursday of the last ten days!

✅ In many narrations, fasting three days a month has been introduced as a traditional fast for which great rewards and virtues have been mentioned.

✅ The way to do it is to first fast the Thursday of the first ten days of the month, and if there are two Thursdays in the first ten days, although we can fast either of them, the first Thursday is considered better.

Then the Wednesday of the middle of the month is fasted, and if there are two Wednesdays in the middle ten days, according to the narration in 📚 Al-Faqih Vol. 2, p. 82, Imam al-Sadiq (peace be upon him) said:

Meaning, fast the first Wednesday that is after the first ten days.

So, according to this, if there are two Wednesdays in the middle ten days of the month, the first one is fasted.

Then the Thursday of the last ten days is fasted, and if there are two Thursdays in the last ten days, fasting the second Thursday is considered better, although in hadith 3, fasting the first Thursday is encouraged due to the possibility of not reaching the second Thursday!

✅ Many rulings and rewards and virtues for fasting three days a month have been mentioned in the narrations, some of which will be brought in the following parts to be used, God willing.
