1 عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ يَحْيَى عَنْ بَعْضِ أَصْحَابِنَا عَنْ سِجَادَةَ عَنْ مُوسَى بْنِ بَكْرٍ قَالَ: كُنَّا عِنْدَ أَبِي الْحَسَن وَ إِذَا دَنَانِيرُ مَصْبُوبَةٌ بَيْنَ يَدَيْهِ فَنَظَرَ إِلَى دِينَارٍ فَأَخَذَهُ بِيَدِهِ ثُمَّ قَطَعَهُ بِنِصْفَيْنِ ثُمَّ قَالَ لِي أَلْقِهِ فِي الْبَالُوعَةِ حَتَّى لَا يُبَاعَ شَيْ ءٌ فِيهِ غِشٌّ.

Musa ibn Bakr said: 'We were with Abu al-Hasan (peace be upon him) while there were dinars scattered in front of him. The Imam (peace be upon him) looked at a dinar, took it with his hand, broke it in half, and then said to me: 'Throw it into the sewage pit so that something in which there is fraud is not traded!''

2 عَنْ شُعَيْبِ بْنِ وَاقِدٍ عَنِ الْحُسَيْنِ بْنِ زَيْدٍ عَنِ الصَّادِقِ عَنْ آبَائِه فِي حَدِيثِ الْمَنَاهِي عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّه أَنَّهُ قَالَ: وَ مَنْ غَشَّ مُسْلِماً فِي شِرَاءٍ أَوْ بَيْعٍ فَلَيْسَ مِنَّا وَ يُحْشَرُ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ مَعَ الْيَهُودِ لِأَنَّهُمْ أَغَشُّ الْخَلْقِ.

Imam Sadiq (peace be upon him) narrated from his ancestors that the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him and his family) said in the Hadith of Prohibitions: 'Whoever cheats a Muslim in buying or selling is not from us and will be resurrected on the Day of Judgment with the Jews, for the Jews are the most treacherous and deceitful of all creation!'

✅In many narrations, 'ghish' (fraud) is severely condemned, and this word in the lexicon means betrayal, deceit, deception, including fake things among genuine ones, mixing worthless things with valuable ones, impurity, fraud, etc. It is observed that in the first narration, the Imam (peace be upon him) threw the fake dinar into the pit and did not use it for any purpose, and therefore, using fake banknotes to buy goods and for other matters has no place.
