'Ali ibn Ja'far said: 'I asked Imam Kadhim (peace be upon him) about a person who is in prayer and then realizes that gas was emitted from him, but he does not feel its smell or hear its sound. (What should he do?)' The Imam said: 'If he is certain of it (the emission of gas), he should repeat the wudu and the prayer, and he should not count anything of what he has already prayed.'
📚 Qurb al-Isnad, p. 88
'Ali ibn Ja'far said: 'I asked Musa ibn Ja'far (peace be upon him) about a person who is in prayer, and someone throws something at him and injures him and blood flows. Does this invalidate his wudu?' He said: 'No, but he should stop the prayer!'

📚 Al-Tahdhib, vol. 2, p. 199
Imam Baqir (peace be upon him) said: 'Turning the face completely invalidates the prayer.'

📚 Al-Kafi, vol. 3, p. 364

📚 Al-Tahdhib, vol. 1, p. 11
Imam Sadiq (peace be upon him) was asked about a person who is in prayer and a tapeworm is emitted from him. What should he do? He said: 'If it comes out clean from impurity, there is nothing upon him and his wudu is not broken. But if it comes out smeared with impurity, he must repeat the wudu, and if he is in his prayer, he should stop his prayer and repeat the wudu and the prayer!'

✅ Several things, a few of which were mentioned, cause the prayer to be stopped and invalidated. When a person's prayer is stopped because of intentional speech or the invalidation of wudu, etc., he is obligated to stop it and repeat it. No instruction has been reported regarding reciting the tashahhud and salutations in these cases. After the invalidating event has occurred, he should stop that prayer and fulfill his obligation.
