Answer

✅Answer: Please pay attention to the following narrations:

📚 Al-Kafi, vol. 6, p. 492

Translation: Ibn Abi Umayr narrated in a 'marfu' (elevated) narration that (the Imam, peace be upon him) said about clipping nails: 'You start with the little finger of the left hand (or foot) and you end with the little finger of the right hand (or foot).'

📚 Al-Faqih, vol. 1, p. 127

Translation: Shaykh Saduq said: 'It has been narrated that whoever clips his nails on Friday, he starts with the little finger of the left hand and ends with the little finger of the right hand.'

✅ The order for clipping nails is clear in the two above narrations. However, some of the virtues of clipping nails on Friday should also be noted:

📚 Thawab al-A'mal, p. 41, and Al-Khisal, p. 391

Translation: The Messenger of God (prayers of God be upon him and his family) said: 'Whoever clips his nails on Friday, God will remove disease from his fingers and instill medicine in them.'

📚 Amali al-Saduq, p. 250

Translation: Imam Sadiq (peace be upon him) said: 'Clipping nails and trimming the mustache, from one Friday to the next, provides safety from leprosy.'

📚 Al-Kafi, vol. 6, p. 511

Translation: Sakan al-Kharraz said: I heard Imam Sadiq (peace be upon him) say: 'For God, there is a right upon the neck of every adult (i.e., one who has reached the age of religious duty), every Friday, and that is to trim his mustache and his nails and to apply some perfume.'

📚 Al-Kafi, vol. 4, p. 317

Translation: Muhammad ibn Ala said: I heard Imam Sadiq (peace be upon him) say: 'Whoever trims his mustache and clips his nails on Friday and says:

God will write for him the freeing of a slave for every piece of hair and every piece of nail, and no disease will afflict him except the disease of death (i.e., the illness with which a person's life ends and with which he passes away).'

📚 Thawab al-A'mal, p. 42

Translation: Imam Sadiq (peace be upon him) said: 'Clipping nails on Friday provides safety from leprosy, vitiligo, and blindness. And if there is no need to clip, rub them a little.' And Imam Sadiq (peace be upon him) said: 'Whoever trims his mustache and clips his nails and says:

For every piece of hair and every piece of nail, he is granted (the reward of) freeing a slave from the children of Ismail.'
