✅ Answer: Pay attention to the following Hadiths:

📚 Al-Khisal, p. 443

Imam Sadiq (peace be upon him) said: Eat melon, for ten characteristics are combined in it:

It is the fat of the earth,

There is no pain or ailment in it,

It is both food and drink,

It is a fruit,

It is a fragrant plant,

It is an Oshnan (cleanser),

It is a side dish,

It increases sexual potency,

It cleanses the bladder,

And it makes urine flow!

📚 Amali al-Tusi, Vol. 1, p. 373

Amir al-Mu'minin (peace be upon him) said: The root of the radish cuts through phlegm and digests food, and its leaf makes urine pour down!

📚 Al-Kafi, Vol. 6, p. 371

Hannan said: I was at the dining table with Imam Sadiq (peace be upon him) and he gave me a radish, and I heard him say: O Hannan! Eat radish, for there are three characteristics in it:

Its leaf repels gases,

Its core makes urine pour and flow,

And its root cuts through phlegm!

📚 Al-Kafi, Vol. 6, p. 371

Imam Sadiq (peace be upon him) said: The root of the radish cuts through phlegm, its core causes digestion, and its leaf makes urine completely pour and flow!

✅ 'Fujl' in lexicography is defined as both black radish and red radish (radish).

Also, 'Bittikh' in lexicography is defined as both watermelon and melon. However, according to the following Hadith and others, the likelihood that 'Bittikh' refers to melon is stronger:

📚 Al-Mahasin, 557

Imam Sadiq (peace be upon him) said to one of his servants: I will return such-and-such maidservant to you, on the condition that you feed us a Dirham's worth of Bittikh, meaning melon!
