Imam Sadiq (peace be upon him) said: It is disliked (Makruh) to combine two obligatory Tawafs of seven circuits each, but there is no issue in doing so for supererogatory (Nafl) Tawafs!

2⃣عَنْ زُرَارَةَ أَنَّهُ قَالَ: رُبَّمَا طُفْتُ مَعَ أَبِی جَعْفَرٍ وَ هُوَ مُمْسِکٌ بِیَدِی الطَّوَافَیْنِ وَ الثَّلَاثَةَ ثُمَّ یَنْصَرِفُ وَ یُصَلِّی الرَّکَعَاتِ سِتّاً.

Zurara narrated: Sometimes, while holding my hand, Imam Baqir (peace be upon him) performed two or three Tawafs with me, and then he would pray six units of prayer for those Tawafs.

Umar ibn Yazid narrated: I heard Imam Sadiq (peace be upon him) say: Combining (Qiran) in obligatory Tawaf is disliked, but for Nafl Tawaf, by Allah, there is no issue!

4⃣عَنْ یَعْقُوبَ بْنِ یَزِیدَ عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِی عُمَیْرٍ عَنْ جَمِیلٍ عَنْ زُرَارَةَ قَالَ: طُفْتُ مَعَ أَبِی جَعْفَرٍ ثَلَاثَةَ عَشَرَ أُسْبُوعاً قَرَنَهَا جَمِیعاً وَ هُوَ آخِذٌ بِیَدِی ثُمَّ خَرَجَ فَتَنَحَّی نَاحِیَةً فَصَلَّی سِتّاً وَ عِشْرِینَ رَکْعَةً وَ صَلَّیْتُ مَعَهُ.

Zurara narrated: I performed thirteen seven-circuit Tawafs consecutively (Qiran) with Imam Baqir (peace be upon him) while he held my hand. After completing the Tawafs, the Imam went to a corner, prayed 26 units of prayer (i.e., 13 two-unit prayers), and I prayed with him.

5⃣عَنْ عَلِیِّ بْنِ جَعْفَرٍ عَنْ أَخِیهِ قَالَ: وَ سَأَلْتُهُ عَنِ الرَّجُلِ هَلْ یَصْلُحُ لَهُ أَنْ یَطُوفَ الطَّوَافَیْنِ وَ الثَّلَاثَةَ وَ لَا یَفْرُقَ بَیْنَهُمَا بِالصَّلَاةِ ثُمَّ یُصَلِّیَ لَهَا جَمِیعاً قَالَ لَا بَأْسَ غَیْرَ أَنَّهُ یُسَلِّمُ فِی کُلِّ رَکْعَتَیْنِ.

Ali ibn Ja‘far asked Imam Kazim (peace be upon him): Is it permissible for someone to perform two or three Tawafs without separating them with Salat al-Tawaf and then pray for all of them together? The Imam replied: There is no issue, as long as they conclude each two-unit prayer with Salam.

6⃣عَنْ زُرَارَةَ عَنْ أَبِی جَعْفَرٍ فِی حَدِیثٍ قَالَ: وَ لَا قِرَانَ بَیْنَ أُسْبُوعَیْنِ فِی فَرِیضَةٍ وَ نَافِلَةٍ.

Imam Baqir (peace be upon him) said: Combining (Qiran) two seven-circuit Tawafs is not permissible for either obligatory or supererogatory Tawafs!

However, if someone wishes to perform two or more Tawafs consecutively and then offer all their prayers together, this is only permissible if all the Tawafs are supererogatory (Nafl).
