1⃣عَنْ زُرَارَةَ عَنْ أَبِی جَعْفَرٍ قَالَ: إِذَا کَانَتِ الْمَرْأَةُ طَامِثاً فَلَا تَحِلُّ لَهَا الصَّلَاةُ الْحَدِیثَ.

📚 *Al-Kafi*, Vol. 3, p. 101

Imam al-Baqir (peace be upon him) said: 'If a woman is menstruating, it is not permissible for her to pray!'

2⃣عَنْ أَبِی جَعْفَرٍ وَ أَبِی عَبْدِ اللَّهِ قَالا الْحَائِضُ تَقْضِی الصِّیَامَ وَ لَا تَقْضِی الصَّلَاةَ.

📚 *Al-Kafi*, Vol. 3, p. 104

Imam al-Baqir and Imam al-Sadiq (peace be upon them) said: 'A menstruating woman does not make up the prayers, but she must make up the fasts!'

3⃣عَنِ الْفَضْلِ بْنِ شَاذَانَ عَنِ الرِّضَا فِی کِتَابِهِ إِلَی الْمَأْمُونِ الْحَائِضُ تَتْرُکُ الصَّلَاةَ وَ لَا تَقْضِی وَ تَتْرُکُ الصَّوْمَ وَ تَقْضِی.

📚 *Uyun Akhbar al-Ridha*, Vol. 2, p. 124

Imam al-Ridha (peace be upon him) wrote in a letter to Mamun: 'A menstruating woman leaves the prayer and does not make it up, but she leaves the fast and makes it up!'

4⃣عَنْ یُونُسَ بْنِ یَعْقُوبَ عَنْ أَبِی عَبْدِ اللَّه قَالَ: فِی امْرَأَةٍ دَخَلَ عَلَیْهَا وَقْتُ الصَّلَاةِ وَ هِیَ طَاهِرٌ فَأَخَّرَتِ الصَّلَاةَ حَتَّی حَاضَتْ قَالَ تَقْضِی إِذَا طَهُرَتْ.

📚 *Al-Tahdhib*, Vol. 1, p. 392

Imam al-Sadiq (peace be upon him) said regarding a woman who enters the time of prayer while she is pure and delays it until she starts her period: 'When she becomes pure, she must make up the prayer!'

5⃣عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ الْحَجَّاجِ قَالَ: سَأَلْتُهُ عَنِ الْمَرْأَةِ تَطْمَثُ بَعْدَ مَا تَزُولُ الشَّمْسُ وَ لَمْ تُصَلِّ الظُّهْرَ هَلْ عَلَیْهَا قَضَاءُ تِلْکَ الصَّلَاةِ قَالَ نَعَمْ.

Abd al-Rahman said: 'I asked the Imam about a woman who begins her period after midday and has not prayed the noon prayer, whether she is required to make up that prayer. He replied: Yes!'

6⃣عَنِ الْفَضْلِ بْنِ یُونُسَ عَنْ أَبِی الْحَسَنِ الْأَوَّلِ فِی حَدِیثٍ قَالَ: وَ إِذَا رَأَتِ الْمَرْأَةُ الدَّمَ بَعْدَ مَا یَمْضِی مِنْ زَوَالِ الشَّمْسِ أَرْبَعَةُ أَقْدَامٍ فَلْتُمْسِکْ عَنِ الصَّلَاةِ فَإِذَا طَهُرَتْ مِنَ الدَّمِ فَلْتَقْضِ صَلَاةَ الظُّهْرِ لِأَنَّ وَقْتَ الظُّهْرِ دَخَلَ عَلَیْهَا وَ هِیَ طَاهِرٌ وَ خَرَجَ عَنْهَا وَقْتُ الظُّهْرِ وَ هِیَ طَاهِرٌ فَضَیَّعَتْ صَلَاةَ الظُّهْرِ فَوَجَبَ عَلَیْهَا قَضَاؤُهَا.

📚 *Al-Kafi*, Vol. 3, p. 102

Imam al-Kadhim (peace be upon him) said in a narration: 'If a woman sees blood after four steps past noon, she must stop praying. When she becomes pure, she must make up the noon prayer because the prayer time entered while she was pure and exited while she was pure, thus she missed the prayer and must make it up!'

7⃣أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدٌ حَدَّثَنِي مُوسَى حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ جَدِّهِ جَعْفَرِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ أَنَّ عَلِيّاً قَالَ: إِذَا دَخَلَتِ الْمَرْأَةُ فِي وَقْتِ الصَّلَاةِ فَحَاضَتْ قَضَتْ تِلْكَ الصَّلَاةَ

📚 *Al-Ja'fariyat*, p. 24

Amir al-Mu'minin (peace be upon him) said: 'If the time for prayer enters for a woman and then she starts menstruating, she must make up that prayer!'

✅ Based on the above narrations and others, women are required to refrain from prayer during menstruation and are not obligated to make up prayers after becoming pure. However, if the time for prayer enters and before she prays, she starts menstruating, she must leave the prayer and after becoming pure, she must make up the prayer that entered while she was pure, but she had not prayed it before menstruation began.
