1⃣عَنْ أَبِی عَبْداللَّه قَالَ: ثُمَّ احْلِقْ رَأْسَکَ وَ اغْتَسِلْ وَ قَلِّمْ أَظْفَارَکَ وَ خُذْ مِنْ شَارِبِکَ وَ زُرِ الْبَیْتَ وَ طُفْ به أُسْبُوعاً تَفْعَلُ کَمَا صَنَعْتَ یَوْمَ قَدِمْتَ مَکَّةَ

📚 Al-Tahdheeb, Vol. 5, p. 250

Imam Al-Sadiq (peace be upon him) said: Then shave your head, perform the ghusl (ritual washing), cut your nails, trim your mustache, and visit the House of Allah (Kaaba). Perform seven rounds of Tawaf just like the day you entered Mecca!

2⃣عن مُعَاوِیَةَ بْنِ عَمَّارٍ عَنْ أَبِی عَبْداللَّه فِی زِیَارَةِ الْبَیْتِ یَوْمَ النَّحْرِ قَالَ زُرْهُ فَإِنْ شُغِلْتَ فَلَا یَضُرُّکَ أَنْ تَزُورَ الْبَیْتَ مِنَ الْغَدِ وَ لَا تُؤَخِّرْ أَنْ تَزُورَ مِنْ یَوْمِکَ فَإِنَّهُ یُکْرَهُ لِلْمُتَمَتِّعِ أَنْ یُؤَخِّرَهُ و مُوَسَّعٌ لِلْمُفْرِدِ أَنْ یُؤَخِّرَهُ

📚 Al-Kafi, Vol. 4, p. 511

Imam Al-Sadiq (peace be upon him) said regarding visiting the Kaaba on the Day of Eid al-Adha: Visit it. If you are delayed, it is not a problem to visit it the next day. Do not delay it on the same day, for it is disliked for a pilgrim performing Hajj Tamattu' to delay it, but a pilgrim performing Hajj Ifrad has the option to delay it!

3⃣عن مَنْصُورِ بْنِ حَازِمٍ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ أَبَا عَبْدِ اللَّه یَقُولُ لَا یَبِیتُ الْمُتَمَتِّعُ یَوْمَ النَّحْرِ بِمِنًی حَتَّی یَزُورَ البيت

Mansur said: I heard Imam Al-Sadiq (peace be upon him) say: The pilgrim performing Hajj Tamattu' should not spend the night of Eid al-Adha in Mina until after visiting the Kaaba!

4⃣عن مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ مُسْلِمٍ عن أَبی جَعْفَرٍ قال: سَأَلْتُهُ عَنِ الْمُتَمَتِّعِ مَتَی یَزُورُ الْبَیْتَ قَالَ یَوْمَ النَّحْر

Muhammad bin Muslim said: I asked Imam Al-Baqir (peace be upon him) about when a Tamattu' pilgrim should visit the Kaaba. He replied: On the Day of Eid al-Adha!

5⃣ عن أَبِی عبداللَّه قال: یَنْبَغِی لِلْمُتَمَتِّعِ أَنْ یَزُورَ الْبَیْتَ یَوْمَ النَّحْرِ أَوْ مِنْ لَیْلَتِهِ و لَا یُؤَخِّرَ ذَلِک

Imam Al-Sadiq (peace be upon him) said: It is appropriate for a Tamattu' pilgrim to visit the Kaaba either on the Day of Eid al-Adha or on its evening and not delay it!

6⃣عن معاویة بن عمار عن أبی عبداللَّه قال: سَأَلْتُهُ عَنِ الْمُتَمَتِّعِ مَتَی یَزُورُ الْبَیْتَ قَالَ یَوْمَ النَّحْرِ أَوْ مِنَ الْغَدِ وَ لَا یُؤَخِّرُ وَ الْمُفْرِدُ و الْقَارِنُ لَیْسَا بِسَوَاءٍ مُوَسَّعٌ عَلَیْهِمَا

Muawiyah bin Ammar said: I asked Imam Al-Sadiq (peace be upon him) about when a Tamattu' pilgrim should visit the Kaaba. He replied: On the Day of Eid al-Adha or the following day, and it should not be delayed. Pilgrims performing Hajj Ifrad or Qiran are not the same as Tamattu', and they have the option to delay it!

7⃣ From Abu Abdullah: There is no harm in delaying the visit to the Kaaba until the Day of Tashreeq. It is preferred to hasten it due to the fear of incidents and problems.

📚 Al-Tahdheeb, Vol. 5, p. 250

Imam Al-Sadiq (peace be upon him) said: It is not a problem to delay the visit to the Kaaba until the Day of Nafrah (the day of departure), as hastening it is recommended due to the fear of events and mishaps!

8⃣ Halabi said: I asked Imam Al-Sadiq (peace be upon him) about someone who delays the visit until the Day of Nafrah. He said: It is not a problem, but for women, it is not lawful until they visit the Kaaba and perform the Tawaf al-Nisa' (Women’s Tawaf)!

📚 Mustadrak al-Sara'ir, p. 35

✅ Based on the above narrations and others, after the throwing of the Jamrah al-Aqaba, the sacrifice, and shaving or shortening the hair on the Day of Eid al-Adha, the Tawaf al-Ziyarah and the obligatory Tawaf al-Ziyarah follow. The pilgrim visits the Kaaba and performs the seven rounds of Tawaf al-Ziyarah, then prays two rak'ahs behind the Maqam Ibrahim, and then performs the Sa'i between Safa and Marwah, followed by Tawaf al-Nisa' and its prayer.

✅ The recommended time for performing the Tawaf al-Ziyarah is on the Day of Eid al-Adha, and if delayed, it can be performed on the night of the 11th, or the 11th day, or the 12th day of Tashreeq. Delaying it is disliked, and hastening it is recommended.

✅ Delaying the Tawaf al-Ziyarah until the 17th day or after the days of Tashreeq is mentioned in some narrations, and while such delay is disliked and forbidden, it may be due to the likelihood of taqiya (dissimulation) in alignment with the general public's practices. Therefore, it is recommended to hasten the Tawaf al-Ziyarah, Sa'i, and Tawaf al-Nisa'.

✅ The dislike of delaying Tawaf al-Ziyarah from the 10th day, its evening, or the next day is specific to the Tamattu' pilgrim, while the Ifrad and Qiran pilgrims have the option of delay.

✅ An important note: Women and perfumes are not allowed for the pilgrim until the Tawaf al-Ziyarah and Sa'i between Safa and Marwah are completed, and women are not allowed until the Tawaf al-Nisa' is performed.
