Imam Sadiq (peace be upon him) said: The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: Whoever grows his hair long should take good care of it or trim it and cut it short!

✅ Based on the above narrations and others, shaving and trimming the hair is recommended for men, with benefits mentioned, and the harms of keeping hair long are discussed.

✅ The divine prophets and the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) did not keep long hair. The Prophet's hair was at most to his earlobe and therefore did not require parting.

✅ However, if someone grows their hair long, they must take care of it, maintain cleanliness, and comb it. If it is longer than the earlobe, they should part it.
