Question 1192: How are the Eid al-Fitr and Eid al-Adha prayers performed?

Answer
According to the sayings of the infallible Imams, peace be upon them, any good supplication can be recited for the qunut of the Eid al-Fitr and Eid al-Adha prayers,
And here are two recommended supplications for the qunut of the Eid prayer:
اللَّهُمَّ اکْتُبْنِی فِی وَفْدِکَ إِلَی خَیْرِ بِقَاعِکَ وَ خَیْرِ خَلْقِکَ اللَّهُمَّ الْعَنِ الْجِبْتَ وَ الطَّاغُوتَ وَ الْعَنْ أَشْیَاعَهُمْ وَ أَتْبَاعَهُمْ
