✅Answer: Please pay attention to the following narrations:

📚Qurb al-Isnad, p. 101

Ali ibn Ja'far asked his brother Musa ibn Ja'far (peace be upon him) about a woman who removes the hair from her face. The Imam said: 'There is no problem!'

📚Masa'il Ali ibn Ja'far, p. 129

Ali ibn Ja'far said in his book: 'I asked my brother Musa ibn Ja'far (peace be upon him) about a woman, 'Should she remove the hair from her face?' He said: 'There is no problem!'

📚Makarim al-Akhlaq, p. 85

Abu Basir said: 'I asked the Imam (peace be upon him) about a woman plucking the hair from the front of her head when she intends to adorn herself for her husband, and about removing (facial hair) and 'qaramal' (a type of hair extension) and wool (that a woman ties to her hair) and things like that.' The Imam said: 'All of these are without problem!'

📚Al-Kafi, Vol. 5, p. 119

Imam Baqir (peace be upon him) was asked about 'qaramal' that women place on their heads and attach to their hair. The Imam said: 'There is no problem for a woman in what she uses to adorn herself for her husband!'

✅According to the above narrations, women can remove all the hair from their faces for adornment, and the prohibition of removing beard hair is specific to men.

✅However, in verse 31 of Surah al-Nur, Allah Almighty has said:

Meaning: 'And tell the believing women to lower their gazes and guard their private parts and not to reveal their adornments except what is apparent...'

✅In the interpretation of 'apparent adornment' which women are permitted to reveal in the above verse, the Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them) have mentioned things like rings, kohl, and henna on the hands, but adorning the face by removing its hair is not mentioned among the things that are permitted to be revealed. Therefore, it is fitting for a woman, if she adorns her face by removing its hair, to cover it from the sight of non-mahram men.
