Muhammad ibn Muslim said: Imam Baqir (peace be upon him) said: Should I not explain the ablution of the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him and his family) to you?! I said: Yes! 5 عَنْ أَبِي جَرِيرٍ الرَّقَاشِيِّ قَالَ: قُلْتُ لِأَبِي الْحَسَنِ مُوسَى كَيْفَ أَتَوَضَّأُ لِلصَّلَاةِ- فَقَالَ لَا تَعَمَّقْ فِي الْوُضُوءِ وَ لَا تَلْطِمْ وَجْهَكَ بِالْمَاءِ لَطْماً- وَ لَكِنِ اغْسِلْهُ مِنْ أَعْلَى وَجْهِكَ إِلَى أَسْفَلِهِ بِالْمَاءِ مَسْحاً....

📚Qurb al-Isnad, p. 129

Abu Jarir said: I said to Imam Kadhim (peace be upon him): How should I perform ablution for prayer? He said: Do not be too meticulous in ablution and do not splash the water on the face, but rather wash the face with water from the top of your face downwards, by wiping it!

Imam Musa Kadhim (peace be upon him) said:

Being a good neighbor is not about not causing harm, but rather, good neighborliness is about enduring harm....

💠 وَ قَالَ علیه السلام: الْمُصِیبَةُ لِلصَّابِرِ وَاحِدَةٌ وَ لِلْجَازِعِ اثْنَتَانِ.

And the peace of God be upon him who said:

Calamity for the patient is one,

And for the impatient it is two.
