✅Answer: Please pay attention to the following narrations:

1 عَنْ زُرَارَةَ وَ بُكَيْرٍ أَنَّهُمَا سَأَلَا أَبَا جَعْفَرٍ عَنْ وُضُوءِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ فَدَعَا بِطَشْتٍ أَوْ تَوْرٍ فِيهِ مَاءٌ-.... الي ان قال... ثُمَّ مَسَحَ رَأْسَهُ وَ قَدَمَيْهِ بِبَلَلِ كَفِّهِ- لَمْ يُحْدِثْ لَهُمَا مَاءً جَدِيداً-

📚Al-Kafi, Vol. 3, p. 25

Zurarah and Bukayr asked Imam Baqir (peace be upon him) about the ablution of the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him and his family); he requested a basin or a vessel in which there was water... until the narrator said: Then the Imam (peace be upon him) wiped his head and his two feet with the moisture of his hand, and he did not take new water for them...

2 عَنْ زُرَارَةَ بْنِ أَعْيَنَ قَالَ: حَكَى لَنَا أَبُو جَعْفَرٍ وُضُوءَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ فَدَعَا بِقَدَحٍ مِنْ مَاءٍ.... الي ان قال.... ثُمَّ مَسَحَ بِبِلَّةِ مَا بَقِيَ فِي يَدَيْهِ رَأْسَهُ وَ رِجْلَيْهِ- وَ لَمْ يُعِدْهُمَا فِي الْإِنَاءِ.

Zurarah said: Imam Baqir (peace be upon him) narrated to us the ablution of the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him and his family)... until he said: Then he wiped his head and his two feet with the remaining moisture in his two hands, and he did not put them back into the water vessel again!

3 عَنْ زُرَارَةَ قَالَ: قَالَ أَبُو جَعْفَرٍ أَ لَا أَحْكِي لَكُمْ وُضُوءَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ فَقُلْنَا بَلَى فَدَعَا بِقَعْبٍ فِيهِ شَيْ ءٌ مِنْ مَاءٍ- فَوَضَعَهُ بَيْنَ يَدَيْهِ ثُمَّ حَسَرَ عَنْ ذِرَاعَيْهِ... الي ان قال... وَ تَمْسَحُ بِبِلَّةِ يُمْنَاكَ نَاصِيَتَكَ- وَ مَا بَقِيَ مِنْ بِلَّةِ يَمِينِكَ ظَهْرَ قَدَمِكَ الْيُمْنَى- وَ تَمْسَحُ بِبِلَّةِ يَسَارِكَ ظَهْرَ قَدَمِكَ الْيُسْرَى..

📚Al-Kafi, Vol. 3, p. 25

Zurarah said: Imam Baqir (peace be upon him) said: Shall I not narrate to you the ablution of the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him and his family)? We said: Yes!

He requested a vessel in which there was some water and placed it in front of him and rolled up his sleeves... until he said: With the moisture of your right hand, you wipe the front of your head, and with what remains of the moisture of the right hand, you wipe the top of your right foot, and with the moisture of your left hand, you wipe the top of your left foot!

4 مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَلِيِّ بْنِ الْحُسَيْنِ قَالَ: قَالَ الصَّادِقُ إِنْ نَسِيتَ مَسْحَ رَأْسِكَ فَامْسَحْ عَلَيْهِ وَ عَلَى رِجْلَيْكَ مِنْ بِلَّةِ وُضُوئِكَ فَإِنْ لَمْ يَكُنْ بَقِيَ فِي يَدِكَ مِنْ نَدَاوَةِ وُضُوئِكَ شَيْءٌ فَخُذْ مِمَا بَقِيَ مِنْهُ فِي لِحْيَتِكَ وَ امْسَحْ بِهِ رَأْسَكَ وَ رِجْلَيْكَ وَ إِنْ لَمْ يَكُنْ لَكَ لِحْيَةٌ فَخُذْ مِنْ حَاجِبَيْكَ وَ أَشْفَارِ عَيْنَيْكَ وَ امْسَحْ بِهِ رَأْسَكَ وَ رِجْلَيْكَ وَ إِنْ لَمْ يَبْقَ مِنْ بِلَّةِ وُضُوئِكَ شَيْءٌ أَعَدْتَ الْوُضُوءَ.

📚Man La Yahduruhu Al-Faqih, Vol. 1, p. 60

Imam Sadiq (peace be upon him) said: If you forget to wipe your head, then wipe your head and your two feet with the moisture of your ablution, and if there is no moisture left from your ablution in your hand, then take from what remains in your beard and wipe your head and your two feet with it. If you do not have a beard, take from (the moisture of) your two eyebrows and your eyelids and wipe your head and your two feet, and if there is no moisture left from your ablution, you must repeat your ablution!

✅ Based on the above narrations and others, for wiping the head and feet in ablution, one can never take new and fresh water, and one must wipe the head and the right foot with the same moisture from the ablution water that is on the right hand, and the left foot with the moisture from the ablution water that is on the left hand. If the moisture of the right hand has dried after wiping the head or before it, one should take from the remaining moisture of the ablution that has remained in the beard or eyebrows or eyelids, and wipe the head and feet. And if no moisture from the ablution remains, one must repeat the ablution.
