Translation: Imam Sadiq (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: 'The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said to Amir al-Mu'minin (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him): 'Do not wear a gold ring on your hand, for gold is your adornment in the Hereafter.'

Translation: Imam Sadiq (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said about 'iron': ''Iron' is the adornment of the people of Hellfire, and gold is the adornment and ornamentation of the people of Paradise. And Allah has made gold the adornment of women, so He has forbidden men from wearing gold and praying in it.'

Translation: Imam Sadiq (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: 'The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said to Amir al-Mu'minin (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him): 'Beware of wearing a gold ring on your hand, for gold is your adornment in Paradise.'
