Ibrahim al-Karkhi said: I bought a maid for Imam Sadiq (peace be upon him), and when I wanted to go and pay for it, I said to him: Should I ask them to lower the price? He said: No! Indeed, the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him and his family) forbade asking for a discount and lowering the price after a contract has been concluded!
2 Zayd al-Shahham said: I brought a maid to Abu Ja'far Muhammad ibn Ali and offered her to him. He started bargaining with me, and I bargained with him, and then I sold her to him, and he gave me the hand of the transaction!
I said: May I be sacrificed for you! I bargained with you to see if bargaining is appropriate or not, and I said: I have lowered the price by ten dinars for you!
The Imam said: Far from it! Why was this not before the contract was concluded?! Has the saying of the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him and his family) not reached you, who said:
(Lowering the price after the sales contract has been concluded is forbidden!)
3 From Ali Abu al-Akrad, he said: I said to Abu Abdullah: I take on work that involves dyeing and engraving, so I stipulate with the engraver on something between me and him: ten pairs for five dirhams and twenty for ten. So when it is time for the accounting, I say to him: Do me a favor! And I ask him to lower the price from what I had stipulated with him. The Imam said: Is it with his willing consent? I said: Yes, he said: There is no problem!

6 From Abu al-Attar, he said: I said to Abu Abdullah: I buy food and lose on the first part of it and profit on the last part, so I ask its owner to reduce the price for me by so and so much on every 'karr'. The Imam said: There is no good in this, but he should give you a discount on the whole. I said: What if he gives me a discount more than what I have lost? He said: There is no problem with that!

✅ Although in narrations 1 and 2 , it is forbidden to ask for a discount after the transaction has been concluded and the contract has been made, in other narrations, it is permitted if the other party willingly and internally agrees and is not forced to do something against his will and is not coerced.
