📚 Al-Tahdhib, Vol. 7, p. 256
Imam Sadiq (prayers of Allah be upon him) said: There is no problem for a man to enter into a temporary marriage with a Zoroastrian woman!
✅ It is clear from the above narrations that in the narrations, it is recommended to choose a believing and Muslim woman for temporary marriage, but the permission for temporary marriage with a Jewish and Christian woman has also been granted.
However, even though a man is forbidden from taking a Christian or Jewish temporary or non-temporary wife over his free wife, the permission for it has also been granted in the above narrations, meaning that even with a wife, the permission for temporary marriage with a Jewish and Christian woman has been granted.
Although there is more prohibition regarding temporary marriage with a Zoroastrian woman, the permission for temporary marriage with her has also been mentioned in the narrations, and according to some narrations, they are also considered among the people of the book.
✅ It should be noted that among non-Muslims, only Jewish, Christian, and Zoroastrian women are permitted to be temporarily married, and temporary marriage with others from among non-Muslims is not permissible.
