✅Answer:

📚 Al-Kafi, vol. 2, p. 527

Ala' ibn Kamil says: I heard Imam al-Sadiq (peace be upon him) saying: In your heart, remember your Lord with humility and fear, without a loud voice, at the end of the day and (say):

The Imam said: Indeed, 'bi yadihi al-khayr' (good is in His hand), but say it ten times as I say it, and say it ten times at sunrise and at sunset:

2 Abdullah ibn Sinan says: Imam al-Sadiq (peace be upon him) said: Soon a doubt will come upon you, and you will remain without a visible banner and without a guiding Imam, and no one will be saved from it except the one who recites the 'Du'a al-Ghariq' (Supplication of the Drowning).

I said: What is the 'Du'a al-Ghariq'? He said: You say:

📚 Kamal al-Din, p. 352

3 Isma'il ibn Fadl says: I asked Imam al-Sadiq (peace be upon him) about the saying of God, the Almighty and Glorious (in Surah Taha, verse 130) which says: 'And glorify with the praise of your Lord before the rising of the sun and before its setting';

The Imam said: It is an obligation upon every Muslim to say ten times before the rising of the sun and ten times before its setting:

Then the Imam said: O so-and-so! There is no doubt that God is 'yuhyi wa yumit wa yumit wa yuhyi' (He gives life and causes death and causes death and gives life), but 'qul kama aqul' (say as I say)!

📚 Khisal, p. 452, hadith 58

✅ The supplications mentioned in the Ziyarat, some of them are in the form of plural pronouns and some are in the singular form, and according to the principle of 'qul kama aqul' (say as I say), reciting them in the same transmitted style ensures the fulfillment of the duty.

✅ Some people, when reciting Du'a Kumayl or Ziyarat Ashura or Du'a Tawassul, repeat some of its parts two or three times, which, according to the above principle, has no place, and it should be performed in the same manner and number as mentioned in the hadiths.

✅Two points:

✅ In the hadith 📚 Al-Kafi, vol. 2, p. 487, the Messenger of God (peace of God be upon him and his family) said: When one of you supplicates, he should make it general, for this makes the supplication more obligatory!

We can apply the above hadith to unrestricted supplications.

✅ Imam al-Baqir narrates from his ancestors from the Messenger of God (peace of God be upon him and his family) that he said: The one who leads a group in prayer and only supplicates for himself has betrayed them!

📚 Al-Tahdhib, vol. 3, p. 281

According to the above narration, the Imam of the congregation should also generalize the supplication for the followers.
