Fudayl said: I heard Imam Baqir, peace be upon him, saying: Everything that does not come out from this house (meaning the house of the Ahl al-Bayt, peace be upon them) is void.

3 عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ سَيَابَةَ عَنِ الصَّادِقِ جَعْفَرِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ قَالَ: إِنَّ مِنَ الْغِيبَةِ أَنْ تَقُولَ فِي أَخِيكَ مَا سَتَرَهُ اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَ إِنَّ مِنَ الْبُهْتَانِ أَنْ تَقُولَ فِي أَخِيكَ مَا لَيْسَ فِيهِ.

Imam Sadiq, peace be upon him, said: Indeed, backbiting is that you say about your brother what Allah has concealed, and slander is that you say about your brother what is not in him!
4 عَنِ الرِّضَا عَنْ آبَائِهِ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ مَنْ بَهَتَ مُؤْمِناً أَوْ مُؤْمِنَةً أَوْ قَالَ فِيهِ مَا لَيْسَ فِيهِ أَقَامَهُ اللَّهُ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ عَلَى تَلٍّ مِنْ نَارٍ حَتَّى يَخْرُجَ مِمَّا قَالَ فِيهِ.

The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him and his family, said: Whoever slanders a believing man or woman or says about him what is not in him, Allah will make him stand on a pile of fire on the Day of Resurrection until he clears himself of what he said about him!
5 عَنْ أَبِي مِخْنَفٍ الْأَزْدِيِّ عَنْ أَمِيرِ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ فِي حَدِيثٍ أَنَّهُ قَالَ: مَنْ كَانَ فیكُمْ له مَالٌ فَإِيَّاهُ وَ الْفَسَادَ فَإِنَّ إِعْطَاءَهُ فِي غَيْرِ حَقِّهِ تَبْذِيرٌ وَ إِسْرَافٌ

Amir al-Mu'minin, peace be upon him, said in a hadith: Whoever among you has wealth, let him beware of corruption, for giving wealth in a way that is not rightful and appropriate is wastefulness and extravagance!

Amir al-Mu'minin, peace be upon him, said: Cast away bad thoughts among yourselves, for indeed Allah, the Mighty and Exalted, has forbidden it.
✅The act of breaking an egg and the like to ward off the evil eye, in addition to being a superstition and having no religious origin, at the same time gives rise to major sins such as having bad thoughts, backbiting, extravagance, and slander, which must be made aware to the afflicted people so that instead of resorting to these superstitions to ward off evil, they resort to supplication and charity, which are emphasized by the Ahl al-Bayt, peace be upon them, and act according to the methods stated by the Ahl al-Bayt, peace be upon them, to protect themselves from and repel the evil eye.
✅I wish that those who are involved in this superstitious act, instead of doing this, would give the money for that one egg, which they truly waste and destroy, as charity, so that in addition to solving their problem, they would also reach the great reward of charity. But unfortunately...
