Abdullah ibn Sinan said: I asked Imam Sadiq (peace be upon him) about performing the ritual bath (ghusl) on the Day of Arafah in cities other than Mecca. The Imam replied: Perform the ghusl wherever you are.

4⃣عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ مُسْلِمٍ عَنْ أَبِی جَعْفَرٍ قَالَ سَأَلْتُهُ عَنْ صَوْمِ یَوْمِ عَرَفَةَ فَقَالَ مَنْ قَوِیَ عَلَیْهِ فَحَسَنٌ إِنْ لَمْ یَمْنَعْکَ مِنَ الدُّعَاءِ فَإِنَّهُ یَوْمُ دُعَاءٍ وَ مَسْأَلَةٍ فَصُمْهُ وَ إِنْ خَشِیتَ أَنْ تَضْعُفَ عَنْ ذَلِکَ فَلَا تَصُمْهُ
Muhammad ibn Muslim said: I asked Imam Baqir (peace be upon him) about fasting on the Day of Arafah. The Imam replied: If one has the strength, it is good to fast, as long as it does not prevent them from supplication. The Day of Arafah is for supplication and requesting from Allah. So, fast if you can, but if you fear that fasting will weaken your ability to pray, then do not fast.
5⃣عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مُسْکَانَ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ سُلَیْمَانَ قَالَ کَانَ أَبُو جَعْفَرٍ إِذَا کَانَ یَوْمُ عَرَفَةَ لَمْ یَرُدَّ سَائِلًا

Abdullah ibn Maskan said: Imam Baqir (peace be upon him) would never turn away a beggar on the Day of Arafah.
It is also narrated that Imam Reza (peace be upon him) distributed all his wealth on the Day of Arafah.
One of the most important acts on this day is supplication. Many supplications have been narrated for this day, the most famous being the supplication of Imam Hussain (peace be upon him) on the Day of Arafah.
