رَوَى مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ يَحْيَى عَنِ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ مُوسَى الْخَشَّابِ عَنْ غِيَاثِ بْنِ كَلُّوبٍ عَنْ إِسْحَاقَ بْنِ عَمَّارٍ عَنْ جَعْفَرٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ أَنَّ عَلِيّاً كَانَ يَقُولُ لَا بَأْسَ أَنْ يُؤَذِّنَ الْغُلَامُ قَبْلَ أَنْ يَحْتَلِمَ وَ لَا يَؤُمُّ حَتَّى يَحْتَلِمَ فَإِنْ أَمَّ جَازَتْ صَلَاتُهُ وَ فَسَدَتْ صَلَاةُ مَنْ خَلْفَهُ

Translation: Imam Baqir (peace be upon him) said: Amir al-Mu'minin (peace be upon him) stated: There is no issue if a boy calls the Adhan before reaching the age of puberty and maturity, but he should not lead the prayer until he reaches that age. If he does lead the prayer, his own prayer is valid, but the prayer of the followers is invalid.
