وَ عَنْهُ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْحَسَنِ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ دَاوُدَ الصَّرْمِيِّ قَالَ قُلْتُ لَهُ يَعْنِي أَبَا الْحَسَنِ الْعَسْكَرِيَّ إِنِّي زُرْتُ أَبَاكَ وَ جَعَلْتُ ذَلِكَ لَكُمْ

فَقَالَ لَكَ مِنَ اللَّهِ أَجْرٌ وَ ثَوَابٌ عَظِيمٌ وَ مِنَّا الْمَحْمَدَة

Translation: Dawood Sarami said:

I asked Abu al-Hasan al-Askari (peace be upon him):

I performed the visitation of your father and dedicated it to you.

The Imam replied:

For you, there will be great reward and recompense from Allah, and from us, appreciation and praise.
