Answer
✅Answer from Divine Authority to this question in the following narrations:
📚 Al-Kafi, vol. 4, p. 108
Abu Abdullah Imam Sadiq (peace be upon him) said: When a fasting person vomits intentionally, he has certainly broken his fast, but if vomiting overcomes him and precedes him, without him intentionally vomiting, then he must complete his fast.
📚 Al-Kafi, vol. 4, p. 108
Imam Sadiq (peace be upon him) said about someone who is overcome by vomiting while fasting:
He should complete his fast and does not have to make it up.
📚 Al-Tahdheeb, vol. 4, p. 322
Sam'ah said: I asked (Imam Sadiq, peace be upon him) about
vomiting in the month of Ramadan;
He said: If it was something that overcame him, there is no problem, but if he forced himself to do it, he has broken his fast and making it up is his responsibility...
📚 Al-Tahdheeb, vol. 4, p. 264
Abu Abdullah Imam Sadiq (peace be upon him) narrated from his father that he said: The one who intentionally vomits while fasting, has certainly broken his fast and making up (i.e., making up for that day's fast) is his responsibility, and God may punish him if He wishes and forgive him if He wishes.
And he said: The one who intentionally vomits while fasting, then making it up is his responsibility.
📚 Al-Tahdheeb, vol. 4, p. 264
Abu Abdullah Imam Sadiq (peace be upon him) said:
The one who intentionally vomits while fasting, must fast one day in its place.
✅From the above narrations, it is clear that unintentional vomiting does not cause a problem for the fast, but if someone intentionally vomits by putting his finger in his throat or pressing his stomach, etc., he has committed a divine sin that may subject him to divine punishment, and the Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them) have placed the making up of that fast upon him.
✅If someone intentionally vomits on a day in the month of Ramadan and falls under the above rulings, it does not mean that he is allowed to use other things that break the fast, because there is no evidence that such a person can use other things that break the fast for the rest of the day, such as eating, drinking, and sexual intercourse.
