✅Answer: Please pay attention to the following narrations:

📚 Al-Tahdheeb, vol. 4, p. 284

📚 Al-Istibsar, vol. 2, p. 124

Translation: Rifa'ah said: I asked Imam Sadiq, peace be upon him, about a man who is obligated to fast for two consecutive months and he fasts for one month and becomes ill; The Imam said: (After he recovers) he builds upon it and continues it, because Allah prevented him from fasting (he did not intentionally break the continuity). I said: A woman is obligated to fast for two consecutive months, so she fasts (for two months) and breaks her fast during her days of menstruation; The Imam said: She performs the makeup fast (for the days of menstruation that she did not fast). I said: She performs the makeup for them and then becomes menopausal? The Imam said: She does not repeat it again, and what she has done is sufficient for her.

📚 Al-Tahdheeb, vol. 4, p. 327

Translation: Muhammad ibn Muslim said: I asked Imam Baqir, peace be upon him, about a woman who makes it obligatory on herself to fast for two consecutive months for the sake of Allah (i.e., she makes a vow) and she menstruates; The Imam said: She fasts for the number of days that she menstruated (later) and this is sufficient for her.

📚 Al-Kafi, vol. 4, p. 137

Translation: Rifa'ah said: I asked Imam Sadiq, peace be upon him, about a woman who has vowed to fast for two consecutive months; The Imam said: She fasts for (two months) and resumes the fast for the days that she abstained from fasting due to menstruation until her two months are completed. I said: Inform me, if this woman becomes menopausal, should she perform the makeup (for those two months) again? He said: No, the first one is sufficient for her.

✅ As you can see in the above narrations, if a woman is obligated to fast for two consecutive months due to a vow or breaking a fast with something forbidden, and it is interrupted by a few days due to her days of menstruation, during which fasting is not permissible according to many narrations, it is sufficient for her to perform the makeup fast for these days of menstruation later and fast them as well until her two months are completed.
