✅ Answer: Some of the practices of the month of Rajab are:

1 Abi Mu'ashar said: When the month of Rajab began, Imam al-Sadiq (peace be upon him) would recite this supplication every day of Rajab:

📚 Bihar al-Anwar, vol.98, p.389

2 Yunus ibn Zubyan said: I was with Imam al-Sadiq (peace be upon him) when Ma'li ibn Khunis entered, and it was the month of Rajab. They discussed supplications for Rajab. Ma'li said: 'O my master, teach me a supplication that contains everything the Shi'a have entrusted in their books.' The Imam replied: 'O Ma'li, say:'

Then he said: 'O Ma'li, by God, this supplication gathers for you all that has been from the time of Abraham, the Friend of God, until the time of Muhammad (peace be upon him and his family).'

📚 Bihar al-Anwar, vol.98, p.390

3 Muhammad Sajjad said: I said to Imam al-Sadiq (peace be upon him): 'I sacrifice myself for you, this is the month of Rajab, teach me a supplication that God may benefit me with.' The Imam said: 'Write it down:'

Recite this supplication every day of Rajab, in the morning and at the end of the day (or beginning of the night) and after your prayers during day and night:

Then the Imam drew his left hand across his beard and struck it, and while moving his right index finger in supplication (left and right), he recited this prayer:

📚 Bihar al-Anwar, vol.98, p.390

📚 Al-Faqih, vol.2, p.92

Imam al-Kazim (peace be upon him) said: Rajab is a river in Paradise, whiter than milk and sweeter than honey. Whoever fasts one day of Rajab, God lets him drink from that river.

📚 Al-Faqih, vol.2, p.92

Imam al-Kazim (peace be upon him) said: Rajab is a great month; God multiplies good deeds and erases sins. Whoever fasts one day of Rajab, the fire is kept away from him for a distance equivalent to a year; whoever fasts three days, Paradise becomes obligatory for him.

✅ Many hadiths mention the virtue of fasting throughout Rajab, especially the first, middle, and twenty-seventh days, in Shi'a hadith collections.

✅ For those unable to fast, giving a piece of bread in charity for each day of Rajab is mentioned in Al-Amali, p.443.
