✅ Please pay attention to the following narrations:

📚 Al-Tahdhib vol.2 p.140

📚 Kafi vol.3 p.50

Imam Baqir (peace be upon him) said: When a person in the state of ritual impurity intends to eat or drink something, he should wash his hands, rinse his mouth with water (madmada), and wash his face, and (then) he can eat and drink.

📚 Al-Kafi vol.3 p.51

Imam Sadiq (peace be upon him) said in a hadith: A person in the state of ritual impurity should not taste anything until he washes his two hands and rinses his mouth with water, because (otherwise) there is a fear of leprosy for him.

📚 Al-Faqih vol.4 p.3

Translation: Amir al-Mu'minin (peace be upon him) said in the hadith of forbidden acts: The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him and his family) forbade eating in the state of ritual impurity and said: This action causes poverty.

📚 Al-Faqih vol.1 p.83

It was asked from Imam Sadiq (peace be upon him) about a person: Is it appropriate for him to sleep while he is in the state of ritual impurity? He said: This is disliked unless he performs wudu.

📚 Illal al-Shara'i p.295 - Chapter 230

Amir al-Mu'minin (peace be upon him) said: A Muslim should not go to sleep while in the state of ritual impurity, and should not sleep except with purity. So if he does not find water, he should perform tayammum with dust.

Abdulrahman said: I asked Imam Sadiq (peace be upon him) about a man who has intercourse with his wife: Should he sleep in that state (of janaba)? He said: «Allah takes the souls during sleep» and this person does not know what nocturnal calamity will befall him (so) when he is done, he should perform ghusl.

📚 Tahdhib vol.1 p.370

He said: I asked Imam Sadiq (peace be upon him) about a person who becomes ritually impure and intends to sleep; the Imam said: If he wishes to perform wudu (and then sleep), he may do so, but performing ghusl is more beloved to me and is better than that action. However, if he sleeps without performing wudu or ghusl, there is nothing upon him, if Allah wills.

✅ Ghusl of Janaba as a divine obligation, as well as wudu and tayammum, according to the second narration, becomes obligatory when the time for prayer arrives and for prayer. However, there is no reason that a person must perform ghusl immediately, but some actions such as eating, drinking, and sleeping, etc., are forbidden during the state of ritual impurity, and in general, according to narration 8 and others, it is better to perform ghusl during the state of ritual impurity.

✅ The narrations that encourage maintaining purity and being in a constant state of wudu also encourage hastening to perform ghusl of janaba.
