✅ Answer: Pay attention to the following ahadith:

1 Safwan al-Jammal narrated: I was present with Imam al-Sadiq (blessings of Allah be upon him) when he turned towards the Qiblah and, before saying Takbirat al-Ihram, said:

اللَّهُمَّ لَا تُؤْیِسْنِی مِنْ رَوْحِکَ وَ لَا تُقَنِّطْنِی مِنْ رَحْمَتِکَ وَ لَا تُؤْمِنِّی مَکْرَکَ فَإِنَّهُ لَا یَأْمَنُ مَکْرَ اللَّهِ إِلَّا الْقَوْمُ الْخاسِرُونَ.

2 Imam al-Sadiq (blessings of Allah be upon him) said: When you stand for prayer, say:

اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّی أُقَدِّمُ إِلَیْکَ مُحَمَّداً صلی الله علیه و آله بَیْنَ یَدَیْ حَاجَتِی وَ أَتَوَجَّهُ بِهِ إِلَیْکَ فَاجْعَلْنِی بِهِ وَجِیهاً عِنْدَکَ فِی الدُّنْیا وَ الْآخِرَةِ وَ مِنَ الْمُقَرَّبِینَ اجْعَلْ صَلَاتِی بِهِ مَقْبُولَةً وَ ذَنْبِی بِهِ مَغْفُوراً وَ دُعَائِی بِهِ مُسْتَجَاباً إِنَّکَ أَنْتَ الْغَفُورُ الرَّحِیمُ.

3 Imam al-Sadiq (blessings of Allah be upon him) said: Commander of the Faithful (blessings of Allah be upon him) used to say: Whoever, upon standing for prayer and before saying Takbirat al-Ihram, utters these words, will be with Muhammad and the Progeny of Muhammad (blessings of Allah be upon them):

اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّی أَتَوَجَّهُ إِلَیْکَ بِمُحَمَّدٍ وَ آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ وَ أُقَدِّمُهُمْ بَیْنَ یَدَیْ صَلَاتِی وَ أَتَقَرَّبُ بِهِمْ إِلَیْکَ فَاجْعَلْنِی بِهِمْ وَجِیهاً فِی الدُّنْیا وَ الْآخِرَةِ وَ مِنَ الْمُقَرَّبِینَ مَنَنْتَ عَلَیَّ بِمَعْرِفَتِهِمْ فَاخْتِمْ لِی بِطَاعَتِهِمْ وَ مَعْرِفَتِهِمْ وَ وَلَایَتِهِمْ فَإِنَّهَا السَّعَادَةُ وَ اخْتِمْ لِی بِهَا فَإِنَّکَ عَلی کُلِّ شَیْءٍ قَدِیرٌ

Then you perform the prayer, and when you say the Taslim (salutation), you say:

اللَّهُمَّ اجْعَلْنِی مَعَ مُحَمَّدٍ وَ آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ فِی کُلِّ عَافِیَةٍ وَ بَلَاءٍ وَ اجْعَلْنِی مَعَ مُحَمَّدٍ وَ آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ فِی کُلِّ مَثْوًی وَ مُنْقَلَبٍ اللَّهُمَّ اجْعَلْ مَحْیَایَ مَحْیَاهُمْ وَ مَمَاتِی مَمَاتَهُمْ وَ اجْعَلْنِی مَعَهُمْ فِی الْمَوَاطِنِ کُلِّهَا وَ لَا تُفَرِّقْ بَیْنِی وَ بَیْنَهُمْ إِنَّکَ عَلی کُلِّ شَیْءٍ قَدِیرٌ.

4 Imam al-Rida (blessings of Allah be upon him) said: In every prayer, after the Iqamah and before Takbirat al-Ihram, you say:

اللَّهُمَّ رَبَّ هَذِهِ الدَّعْوَةِ التَّامَّةِ وَ الصَّلَاةِ الْقَائِمَةِ بَلِّغْ مُحَمَّداً الدَّرَجَةَ وَ الْوَسِيلَةَ وَ الْفَضْلَ وَ الْفَضِيلَةَ وَ بِاللَّهِ أَسْتَفْتِحُ وَ بِاللَّهِ أَسْتَنْجِحُ وَ بِمُحَمَّدٍ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ وَ آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ أَتَوَجَّهُ اللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَ آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ وَ اجْعَلْنِي بِهِمْ عِنْدَكَ وَجِيهاً فِي الدُّنْيَا وَ الْآخِرَةِ وَ مِنَ الْمُقَرَّبِينَ

5 Imam al-Sadiq (blessings of Allah be upon him) said in a hadith: Commander of the Faithful (blessings of Allah be upon him) used to say to his companions: Whoever recites the Iqamah of prayer and, before saying Takbirat al-Ihram, says:

يَا مُحْسِنُ قَدْ أَتَاكَ الْمُسِيءُ وَ قَدْ أَمَرْتَ الْمُحْسِنَ أَنْ يَتَجَاوَزَ عَنِ الْمُسِيءِ وَ أَنْتَ الْمُحْسِنُ وَ أَنَا الْمُسِيءُ فَبِحَقِّ مُحَمَّدٍ وَ آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ صَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَ آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ وَ تَجَاوَزْ عَنْ قَبِيحِ مَا تَعْلَمُ مِنِّي.

Then Allah Most High says: O My angels! Bear witness that I have forgiven him and made the claimants of his rights (those to whom he owes dues) satisfied with him!

6 In a hadith, Hammad ibn Habib al-Attar al-Kufi narrated: Then he (referring to Imam al-Sajjad, blessings of Allah be upon him) prepared for prayer and stood up while reciting this supplication:

يَا مَنْ أَحَارَ كُلَّ شَيْءٍ مَلَكُوتاً وَ قَهَرَ كُلَّ شَيْءٍ جَبَرُوتاً أَلِجْ قَلْبِي فَرَحَ الْإِقْبَالِ عَلَيْكَ وَ أَلْحِقْنِي بِمَيْدَانِ الْمُطِيعِينَ لَكَ

The narrator said: Then he entered the prayer!

7 Imam al-Sadiq (blessings of Allah be upon him) said: When you stand for prayer, say:

بِسْمِ اللَّهِ وَ بِاللَّهِ وَ مِنَ اللَّهِ وَ إِلَى اللَّهِ وَ كَمَا شَاءَ اللَّهُ وَ لَا قُوَّةَ إِلَّا بِاللَّهِ اللَّهُمَّ اجْعَلْنِي مِنْ زُوَّارِكَ وَ عُمَّارِ مَسَاجِدِكَ وَ افْتَحْ لِي بَابَ رَحْمَتِكَ وَ أَغْلِقْ عَنِّي بَابَ مَعْصِيَتِكَ الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ الَّذِي جَعَلَنِي مِمَّنْ يُنَاجِيهِ اللَّهُمَّ أَقْبِلْ عَلَيَّ بِرَحْمَتِكَ جَلَّ ثَنَاؤُكَ

Then begin the prayer (say Takbirat al-Ihram).
