قَالَ اللَّه تَعَالَی : یَا أَیُّهَا الَّذِینَ آمَنُوا اسْتَعِینُوا بِالصَّبْرِ وَالصَّلَاةِ ۚ إِنَّ اللَّهَ مَعَ الصَّابِرِینَ (۱۵۳)

Translation: O you who have believed! Seek help through patience and prayer; indeed, Allah is with the patient!

📖 Surah Al-Baqarah, Verse 153

✅ Answer: Among the narrated prayers, note the following authentic, simple, and beautiful hadith for this purpose:

1 مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ یَحْیَی عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عِیسَی عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ أَبِی دَاوُدَ عَنْ أَبِی حَمْزَةَ عَنْ أَبِی جَعْفَرٍ (علیه السلام) قَالَ: جَاءَ رَجُلٌ إِلَی النَّبِیِّ صلی الله علیه و آله فَقَالَ یَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ إِنِّی ذُو عِیَالٍ وَ عَلَیَّ دَیْنٌ وَ قَدِ اشْتَدَّتْ حَالِی فَعَلِّمْنِی دُعَاءً أَدْعُو اللَّهَ عَزَّ وَ جَلَّ بِهِ لِیَرْزُقَنِی مَا أَقْضِی بِهِ دَیْنِی وَ أَسْتَعِینُ بِهِ عَلَی عِیَالِی فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلی الله علیه و آله یَا عَبْدَ اللَّهِ تَوَضَّأْ وَ أَسْبِغْ وُضُوءَکَ ثُمَّ صَلِّ رَکْعَتَیْنِ تُتِمُّ الرُّکُوعَ وَ السُّجُودَ ثُمَّ قُلْ یَا مَاجِدُ یَا وَاحِدُ یَا کَرِیمُ یَا دَائِمُ أَتَوَجَّهُ إِلَیْکَ بِمُحَمَّدٍ نَبِیِّکَ نَبِیِّ الرَّحْمَةِ صلی الله علیه و آله یَا مُحَمَّدُ یَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ إِنِّی أَتَوَجَّهُ بِکَ إِلَی اللَّهِ رَبِّکَ وَ رَبِّی وَ رَبِّ کُلِّ شَیْ ءٍ أَنْ تُصَلِّیَ عَلَی مُحَمَّدٍ وَ أَهْلِ بَیْتِهِ وَ أَسْأَلُکَ نَفْحَةً کَرِیمَةً مِنْ نَفَحَاتِکَ وَ فَتْحاً یَسِیراً وَ رِزْقاً وَاسِعاً أَلُمُّ بِهِ شَعْثِی وَ أَقْضِی بِهِ دَیْنِی وَ أَسْتَعِینُ بِهِ عَلَی عِیَالِی.

📚 Al-Kafi, Vol. 2, p. 551

Imam Baqir (peace be upon him) said: A man came to the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him and his family) and said: O Messenger of Allah! I have a large family to support, I am in debt, and my situation is difficult! So teach me a supplication with which I may call upon Allah—Mighty and Majestic is He—to grant me sustenance so that I may pay my debt and help my family!

Then the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him and his family) said: O servant of Allah! Perform ablution (Wudu) and make your Wudu 'Isbagh' (thorough/perfected), then pray two units of prayer (Rak'ahs) in which you complete the bowing (Ruku) and prostration (Sujud), and then say:

یَا مَاجِدُ یَا وَاحِدُ یَا کَرِیمُ یَا دَائِمُ أَتَوَجَّهُ إِلَیْکَ بِمُحَمَّدٍ نَبِیِّکَ نَبِیِّ الرَّحْمَةِ صلی الله علیه و آله یَا مُحَمَّدُ یَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ إِنِّی أَتَوَجَّهُ بِکَ إِلَی اللَّهِ رَبِّکَ وَ رَبِّی وَ رَبِّ کُلِّ شَیْ ءٍ أَنْ تُصَلِّیَ عَلَی مُحَمَّدٍ وَ أَهْلِ بَیْتِهِ وَ أَسْأَلُکَ نَفْحَةً کَرِیمَةً مِنْ نَفَحَاتِکَ وَ فَتْحاً یَسِیراً وَ رِزْقاً وَاسِعاً أَلُمُّ بِهِ شَعْثِی وَ أَقْضِی بِهِ دَیْنِی وَ أَسْتَعِینُ بِهِ عَلَی عِیَالِی.
