✅ Answer: I have not seen any specific prayer or action in the ahadith (narrations/traditions) for becoming a homeowner.

But I know of one way for it, whose narrations I will present to you:

1 عَنْ عَلِیِّ بْنِ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ فَضَّالٍ عَنْ أَبِیهِ عَنْ أَبِی الْحَسَنِ عَلِیِّ بْنِ مُوسَی الرِّضَا علیهما السلام قَالَ: لِلْإِمَامِ عَلَامَاتٌ یَكُونُ أَعْلَمَ النَّاسِ... إلي أن قَالَ وَ یَكُونُ دُعَاؤُهُ مُسْتَجَاباً حَتَّی إِنَّهُ لَوْ دَعَا عَلَی صَخْرَةٍ لَانْشَقَّتْ بِنِصْفَیْنِ...

📚 Ma'ani al-Akhbar, p. 35

Imam Reza (peace be upon him) said: 'There are signs for the Imam: He is the most knowledgeable of people...' until he said: 'His prayer is answered, such that if he prays upon a large stone, it will split into two halves....!'

2 مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عِیسَی عَنْ حَمَّادِ بْنِ عِیسَی قَالَ: دَخَلْتُ عَلَی أَبِی الْحَسَنِ مُوسَی بْنِ جَعْفَرٍ علیه السلام بِالْبَصْرَةِ فَقُلْتُ لَهُ جُعِلْتُ فِدَاكَ ادْعُ اللَّهَ تَعَالَی أَنْ یَرْزُقَنِی دَاراً وَ زَوْجَةً وَ وَلَداً وَ خَادِماً وَ الْحَجَّ فِی كُلِّ سَنَةٍ قَالَ فَرَفَعَ یَدَهُ ثُمَّ قَالَ اللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَی مُحَمَّدٍ وَ آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ وَ ارْزُقْ حَمَّادَ بْنَ عِیسَی دَاراً وَ زَوْجَةً وَ وَلَداً وَ خَادِماً وَ الْحَجَّ خَمْسِینَ سَنَةً قَالَ حَمَّادٌ فَلَمَّا اشْتَرَطَ خَمْسِینَ سَنَةً عَلِمْتُ أَنِّی لَا أَحُجُّ أَكْثَرَ مِنْ خَمْسِینَ سَنَةً قَالَ حَمَّادٌ وَ قَدْ حَجَجْتُ ثَمَانِیَ وَ أَرْبَعِینَ سَنَةً وَ هَذِهِ دَارِی قَدْ رُزِقْتُهَا وَ هَذِهِ زَوْجَتِی وَرَاءَ السِّتْرِ تَسْمَعُ كَلَامِی وَ هَذَا ابْنِی وَ هَذِهِ خَادِمِی وَ قَدْ رُزِقْتُ كُلَّ ذَلِكَ فَحَجَّ بَعْدَ هَذَا الْكَلَامِ حَجَّتَیْنِ تَمَامَ الْخَمْسِینَ ثُمَّ خَرَجَ بَعْدَ الْخَمْسِینَ حَاجّاً فَزَامَلَ أَبَا الْعَبَّاسِ النَّوْفَلِیَّ فَلَمَّا صَارَ فِی مَوْضِعِ الْإِحْرَامِ دَخَلَ یَغْتَسِلُ فَجَاءَ الْوَادِی فَحَمَلَهُ فَغَرِقَ فَمَاتَ رَحِمَنَا اللَّهُ وَ إِیَّاهُ قَبْلَ أَنْ یَحُجَّ زِیَادَةً عَلَی الْخَمْسِینَ وَ قَبْرُهُ بِسَیَالَةَ.

📚 Qurb al-Isnad, p. 174

Hammad ibn Isa said: 'I came to Imam Kazim (and according to the Kashf al-Ghummah version, to Imam Sadiq) (peace be upon them both) in Basra and said: May I be sacrificed for you! Pray that Allah the Exalted grants me a house, a wife, a child, a servant, and Hajj (pilgrimage) every year!'

Hammad said: 'The Imam raised his hands and said:

اللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَی مُحَمَّدٍ وَ آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ وَ ارْزُقْ حَمَّادَ بْنَ عِیسَی دَاراً وَ زَوْجَةً وَ وَلَداً وَ خَادِماً وَ الْحَجَّ خَمْسِینَ سَنَةً

Meaning: 'O Allah! Send blessings upon Muhammad and the Family of Muhammad, and grant Hammad ibn Isa a house, a wife, a child, a servant, and fifty years of Hajj!'

Hammad said: 'When the Imam conditioned fifty years of Hajj, I knew that I would not perform Hajj for more than fifty years!'

Hammad said: 'I have performed forty-eight Hajj so far, and this is my house that has been granted to me, and this is my wife who is listening to my words from behind the curtain, and this is my son, and this is my maidservant, and all of them were granted to me!'

After this statement, Hammad performed two more Hajj, completing his fifty Hajj. After the fifty Hajj, he set off for Hajj again and shared a litter with Abu al-Abbas Nawfali. When he reached the miqat (designated boundary for ihram), he entered to take a ritual bath for ihram. Then a flood came and carried him away and he drowned, and he passed away before performing more than fifty Hajj. His grave is in Sayyalah. May Allah have mercy on us and him!

✅ In narration 2 , it is observed that Hammad ibn Isa requests a prayer from the Imam of his time, and the Imam (peace be upon him) prays for him, and the Imam's prayer is completely answered in his favor!

✅ Homeless individuals continuously message asking what prayer there is for becoming a homeowner, and I do not know of any specific prayer or action for becoming a homeowner. Therefore, I say here to all of them:

Don't you have an Imam of the Time??!

Isn't the Imam one whose prayer is answered (Mustajab ad-Da'wah)??!

Why don't you ask your Master, Baqiyyatullah (the remainder of Allah) (peace be upon him), to pray for you??!

Young people who continuously message that you are suffering hardship and sin due to being single, why don't you tell your Master to pray for you??!

✅ This is you, and this is your Imam of the Time, one of whose signs is that his prayer is answered....

✅ Do not worry about your request reaching your Imam and say it out loud, as he becomes aware of it through various ways, including the presentation of our deeds to him.

اللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَی مُحَمَّدٍ وَ آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ وَ عَجِّلْ لِوَلِیِّکَ الْفَرَجَ وَ الْعَافِیَةَ وَ النَّصْر
