✅ Answer: Please pay attention to the following verses and hadiths:

Al Imran, Verse 28

📜 Translation:

The believers should not take the disbelievers as allies and supporters instead of the believers;

and whoever does so will have no relationship or benefit from Allah in any matter,

unless it is to guard against danger and for dissimulation (taqiyyah) (only outwardly) in friendship,

and Allah warns you against (opposing) Himself, and to Allah is the return!

📖 An-Nisa, Verse 139:

📜 Translation:

Those who take the disbelievers as allies and supporters instead of the believers,

do they seek honor and greatness from them?

While all honor and power belong to Allah!

📖 An-Nisa, Verse 144

📜 Translation:

O you who have believed!

Do not take the disbelievers as allies and supporters instead of the believers.

Do you want to provide Allah with a clear proof and evidence against yourselves (so that you become deserving of punishment)?

📖 Al-Ma'idah, Verse 51

📜 Translation:

O you who have believed!

Do not take the Jews and the Christians as allies and supporters;

They are allies and supporters of one another.

And whoever among you takes them as allies and supporters,

then indeed, he is one of them.

Indeed, Allah does not guide the wrongdoing people!

📖 Al-Ma'idah 57

📜 Translation:

O you who have believed!

Do not take those who take your religion in ridicule and amusement,

from among those who were given the Scripture before you and the disbelievers,

as allies and supporters;

And fear Allah, if you are truly believers.

📖 At-Tawbah: 23

🔸 Translation:

O you who have believed! Do not take your fathers and your brothers as allies and supporters if they prefer disbelief over faith;

and whoever among you takes them as allies, those are the wrongdoers!

Al-Mumtahanah: 1

🔸 Translation:

O you who have believed!

Do not take My enemy and your enemy as allies;

You express affection for them, while they have disbelieved in what has come to you of the truth;

They expel the Messenger and yourselves only because you believe in Allah, your Lord.

📘 Al-Kafi, Vol. 5, p. 286, Hadith 1

Imam Sadiq (peace be upon him) said:

It is not appropriate for a Muslim man to enter into partnership with a Dhimmi (Person of the Book under Islamic protection),

nor to entrust capital to him to trade with it,

nor to place a trust with him,

nor to establish a sincere friendship with him!

2 Imam Reza (peace be upon him) said:

📚Sifat Ash-Shi'ah Hadith 10

Imam Reza (peace be upon him) said:

Whoever establishes a connection with someone who has cut off from us;

or cuts off connection with someone who is connected to us;

or praises someone who finds fault with us and speaks ill of us;

or honors someone who opposes us (Ahl al-Bayt);

then he is not from us, and we are not from him.

📚Sifat Ash-Shi'ah Hadith 11

Imam Reza (peace be upon him) said:

Whoever establishes friendship and alliance with the enemies of Allah, has in fact shown enmity towards the friends of God.

And whoever shows enmity towards the friends of Allah,

has in fact shown enmity towards Allah Himself.

And it is obligatory and certain for Allah to admit such a person into the Fire of Hell!

📚Sifat Ash-Shi'ah Hadith 14

Imam Reza (peace be upon him) said:

Indeed, among those who claim to love us, the Ahl al-Bayt, there are individuals whose fitnah (trial/temptation) is more severe for our Shi'ah than the Dajjal (Anti-Christ)! The narrator asked: O son of the Messenger of Allah! For what reason [do they cause fitnah]?

He said: By befriending our enemies and showing enmity to our friends.

When this happens, the truth becomes mixed with falsehood, and matters become confused,

to the extent that the believer is no longer distinguished from the hypocrite!

📖 As-Sara'ir p. 476

Imam Kazim (peace be upon him) said: There is no blame on someone who loves his relatives, even if they are disbelievers.

The narrator said:

Then what about the Quranic verse that says: 'You will not find a people who believe in Allah and the Last Day loving those who oppose Allah and His Messenger'?

The Imam said: 'No, the subject of that verse is not what you thought.

He (the believer) hates them for the sake of Allah and does not have (loyal or supportive) affection,

but (due to necessity) he eats from their hands, and no one among the people provides food for him except them.

6 Narrated by Al-Khalil from Abu Abdullah from Ali (peace be upon him) who said: A man prayed beside me and asked forgiveness for his parents, while they had died in the Age of Ignorance (Jahiliyyah). I said: You ask forgiveness for your parents, while they died in the Age of Ignorance?

So he said: Just as Abraham (peace be upon him) asked forgiveness for his father!

I did not know what to reply to him, so I mentioned that to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him and his family).

Then Allah revealed:

"And Abraham's asking forgiveness for his father was only because of a promise he had made to him.

But when it became clear to him that his father was an enemy of Allah, he disassociated himself from him;"

(In the interpretation of the verse) he said: When he died, it became clear that he was an enemy of Allah, so he did not ask forgiveness for him.

✅ In light of the above verses and hadiths and others, loving different types of disbelievers and polytheists, such as Jews, Christians, Nasibis (those hostile to the Ahl al-Bayt), and apostates, is not permissible and is forbidden. Believers should not harbor the love of disbelievers in their hearts, and only outward rights, if they are stipulated for them, should be fulfilled.
