Do you fulfill the promises of Muhammad, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, and pay off his debt, and take possession of his inheritance? So Amir al-Mu'minin, peace be upon him, said: Yes! May my father and mother be sacrificed for you! That is my responsibility and for me. He said: Then I looked at him until he took off his ring from his finger and said: Wear this during my lifetime.

Up to where he said: Then he called Bilal and said: Bring my helmet, armor, banner, shirt, Dhu al-Fiqar (sword), the 'Sahaab' (cloud) turban, cloak (burd), ewer, and staff.... Then he requested two pairs of Arabic sandals, one patched and the other unpatched, and two shirts, one of which was the shirt he wore when he ascended (Mi'raj), and the other was the shirt he wore when he went to the Battle of Uhud, and the three caps, one of which was the travel cap, another the cap for Eid al-Fitr, Eid al-Qurban, and Fridays, and the third was the cap he wore when he sat among his companions....!
