✅ Answer: Pay attention to the following narrations:

📚 Al-Sarair, vol. 3, p. 556

Halabi says: I said to Imam Al-Sadiq, blessings of God be upon him: 'A person is reciting a verse with prostration while not having ablution.' The Imam said: 'If it is from the determined verses, he should prostrate.'

And regarding a person who takes two or three steps forward during prayer, he said: 'Yes! There is no problem!'

And regarding a person who brings his shoes closer with his hand or foot during prayer, he said: 'Yes!'

📚 Al-Faqih, vol. 1, p. 253

Sheikh Saduq says: It has been narrated that a person drags his feet on the ground during prayer and does not take steps!

📚 Al-Kafi, vol. 3, p. 316

Imam Al-Sadiq, blessings of God be upon him, regarding a person who is praying in a place and wants to move forward, said: 'Stop reciting while walking until you reach the place where you want to move forward, and then resume your recitation!'

📚 Al-Kafi, vol. 3, p. 385

Muhammad ibn Muslim says: I said (to the Imam): 'A person moves backward (without necessity) during prayer.' The Imam said: 'No!' I said: 'He moves forward.' He said: 'Yes! As much as he wants towards the Qibla (he can move forward)!'

✅ Based on the above narrations and others, a person can move forward towards the Qibla during prayer if necessary, but they should not recite while walking. Once they reach the desired place, they can continue their recitation. It is also recommended that their movement be by dragging their feet on the ground rather than taking steps.

✅ Don't your hearts yearn to hear hadith directly from the pure mouth of the infallible? Why don't we pray more and better for the advent of Imam Mahdi, blessings of God be upon him?!

Are we waiting for another calamity to befall us so that we can pray for his advent in a state of desperation?!

Why are we so negligent?!
