Answer

Answer: Please pay attention to the following narrations:

📚 Khisal al-Saduq, p. 503

Translation: The Sunnah of using Nura is once every fifteen days. So, if twenty-one days have passed and he has not used Nura, he should borrow money on God's guarantee and use Nura. And he who goes forty days without using Nura is neither a believer nor a Muslim and has no honor.

📚 Al-Kafi, vol. 6, p. 506

Translation: The Commander of the Faithful (prayers of God be upon him) said: 'I love for a believer to use Nura once every fifteen days.'

📚 Khisal al-Saduq, p. 538

Translation: The Messenger of God (prayers of God be upon him and his family) said: 'Whoever believes in God and the Last Day should not leave the shaving of the hair above his private parts (with Nura or otherwise) for more than forty days. So if he does not have the money (for this), he should borrow it after forty days and not delay.'

📚 Al-Kafi, vol. 6, p. 506

Translation: Imam Sadiq (peace be upon him) said: 'Using Nura once in the summer is better than using it ten times in the winter.'

✅ Also, pay attention to the following narration:

📚 Al-Kafi, vol. 6, p. 505

Translation: Abd al-Rahman said: I entered the bathhouse with Imam Sadiq (peace be upon him). The Imam said to me: 'O Abd al-Rahman! Use Nura.' I said: 'I used Nura a few days ago.' The Imam said: 'Use Nura, for Nura is a cleanser.'

✅ Although the Sunnah of Nura, according to the previous narrations, is once every 15 days, based on the above narration and several other hadiths, using it more often is also encouraged by the Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them), even if only a few days have passed since the last use.

✅ Also, contemplate the following hadith:

📚 Al-Kafi, vol. 8, p. 192

Translation: Imam Sadiq (peace be upon him) said: 'Medicine is four things: 'anfiya' (snuff/nasal drops), cupping, Nura, and suppositories.'

✅ It is observed that the use of Nura is one of the four types of medicine. So let us make more use of the worldly and otherworldly blessings of the commands of the Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them).
