Question 2033: Where is the Mustajar of the Kaaba?

✅ Answer: Consider the following narrations:

📚 Al-Kafi, Vol. 4, p. 411

Imam Sadiq (peace be upon him) said: When you finish your tawaf and reach the back of the Kaaba, which is opposite the Mustajar and slightly before the Yemeni Corner, spread both your hands on the Kaaba, press your stomach and cheek against it, and say:

Then confess to your Lord what you have done, for there is no faithful servant who confesses their sins to their Lord at this place except that Allah forgives them, God willing.

And you say:

Then seek refuge in Allah from the Fire, choose any supplication you wish for yourself, then touch the Yemeni Corner, and proceed to the Black Stone!

📚 Al-Kafi, Vol. 4, p. 410

Imam Sadiq (peace be upon him) said: When you are in the seventh round of tawaf, come to the Mutawwadh, which is opposite the door of the Kaaba when you stand behind it, and say:

Then touch the Yemeni Corner, proceed to the Black Stone, and conclude with it!

📚 Al-Kafi, Vol. 4, p. 410

Muhammad ibn Muslim says: I said to Imam Baqir (peace be upon him): When I finish my tawaf, from where should I touch the Kaaba? He said: From its back!

4⃣ From Muawiya ibn Ammar, from Abu Abdullah: When he reached the Multazam, he would say to his servants: Move away from me so that I may confess my sins to my Lord in this place, for this is a place where no servant confesses their sins to their Lord and seeks forgiveness except that Allah forgives them.

📚 Al-Kafi, Vol. 4, p. 411

Muawiya ibn Ammar says: When Imam Sadiq (peace be upon him) reached the Multazam, he would tell his servants: Move away from me so that I may confess my sins to my Lord in this place. For this is a place where no servant confesses their sins to their Lord and seeks forgiveness except that Allah forgives them!

📚 Al-Kafi, Vol. 4, p. 525

5⃣ Yunus says: I asked Imam Sadiq (peace be upon him) about the Multazam, why it is embraced, and what is said there? The Imam said: At it, there is a river from the rivers of Paradise, into which the deeds of the servants are cast every Thursday!

📚 Al-Kafi, Vol. 4, p. 525

✅ The Mustajar, Multazam, or Mutawwadh refers to a part of the wall behind the Kaaba, slightly before the Yemeni Corner and directly opposite the door of the Kaaba. It is the place where the Kaaba is touched during the seventh round of tawaf, where hands, stomach, and cheek are pressed against the Kaaba, sins are confessed, forgiveness is sought to attain mercy, and specific supplications and virtues are associated with it.
