Jabir said: When Fatima (peace be upon her) was pregnant with Hasan (peace be upon him) and gave birth, the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him and his family) instructed them to wrap him in a white cloth. However, they wrapped him in a yellow cloth. Fatima Zahra (peace be upon her) told Amir al-Mu'minin (peace be upon him): Name him! Imam Ali (peace be upon him) replied: I will not precede the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) in naming him. The Prophet (peace be upon him) arrived, held him, kissed him, and placed his tongue in his mouth, and Imam Hasan (peace be upon him) began to suck on it. Then the Prophet (peace be upon him) said to them: Did I not tell you to wrap him in a white cloth? So, they brought a white cloth, wrapped him in it, and set aside the yellow cloth. The Prophet then recited the *adhan* in his right ear and the *iqama* in his left ear.

2⃣عَنِ الرِّضَا عَنْ آبَائِهِ عَنْ عَلِیِّ بْنِ الْحُسَیْنِ عَنْ أَسْمَاءَ بِنْتِ عُمَیْسٍ عَنْ فَاطِمَةَ قَالَتْ إِنَّهَا قَالَتْ لَمَّا حَمَلْتُ بِالْحَسَنِ وَ وَلَدْتُهُ جَاءَ النَّبِیُّ فَقَالَ یَا أَسْمَاءُ هَلُمِّی ابْنِی فَدَفَعْتُهُ إِلَیْهِ فِی خِرْقَةٍ صَفْرَاءَ فَرَمَی بِهَا النَّبِیُّ وَ أَذَّنَ فِی أُذُنِهِ الْیُمْنَی وَ أَقَامَ فِی أُذُنِهِ الْیُسْرَی إِلَی أَنْ قَالَ فَسَمَّاهُ الْحَسَنَ

📚 *Uyun Akhbar al-Ridha*, Vol. 2, p. 25

Fatima Zahra (peace be upon her) said: When I was pregnant with Hasan (peace be upon him) and gave birth, the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him and his family) came and said: O Asma! Bring me my son! So Asma handed him over in a yellow cloth. The Prophet (peace be upon him) removed the yellow cloth, recited the *adhan* in his right ear, the *iqama* in his left ear... and then named him Hasan.
