✅ Answer: Refer to the following narrations:
📚 Al-Tahdhib, Vol. 5, p. 313
Halabi said: I asked Imam Sadiq (peace be upon him) about a person in the state of Ihram using a toothbrush. He replied: Yes, but do not let it cause bleeding!
📚 Masail Ali ibn Ja'far, p. 118
Ali ibn Ja'far said: I asked Imam Musa ibn Ja'far (peace be upon him) about a person in the state of Ihram using a toothbrush. The Imam said: There is no issue, but it is not appropriate for the person to make their mouth bloody.
📚 Al-Kafi, Vol. 4, p. 366
Ammar said: I asked Imam Sadiq (peace be upon him) about a person in the state of Ihram using a toothpick. The Imam replied: There is no issue.
✅ Based on the above narrations and others, using a toothbrush is permissible for a person in the state of Ihram, but they must avoid causing bleeding in their mouth or on their body. Therefore, they should brush carefully to ensure no bleeding occurs.
Regarding using a toothpick, while it is permissible according to the third narration, it is necessary to avoid causing bleeding in the mouth with the toothpick, in line with the general principles mentioned in the narrations.
