1⃣عَنْ مُعَاوِیَةَ بْنِ عَمَّارٍ عَنْ أَبِی عَبْدِ اللَّهِ قَالَ کَانَ عَلِیٌّ یَقُولُ لِکُلِّ شَهْرٍ عُمْرَةٌ.

Imam Sadiq (peace be upon him) said: Amir al-Mu'minin (peace be upon him) would say: There is an Umrah for every month!

Imam Baqir (peace be upon him) said in a narration: The most virtuous Umrah is the Umrah of the month of Rajab!

3⃣عَنْ مُعَاوِیَةَ بْنِ عَمَّارٍ عَنْ أَبِی عَبْدِ اللَّهِ أَنَّهُ سُئِلَ أَیُّ الْعُمْرَةِ أَفْضَلُ عُمْرَةٌ فِی رَجَبٍ أَوْ عُمْرَةٌ فِی شَهْرِ رَمَضَانَ- فَقَالَ لَا بَلْ عُمْرَةٌ فِی رَجَبٍ أَفْضَلُ.

Imam Sadiq (peace be upon him) was asked: Which Umrah is more virtuous, the Umrah in the month of Rajab or the Umrah in the month of Ramadan? The Imam replied: No! Rather, the Umrah in the month of Rajab is more virtuous!

4⃣عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ سِنَانٍ عَنْ أَبِی عَبْدِ اللَّهِ قَالَ: إِذَا أَحْرَمْتَ وَ عَلَیْکَ مِنْ رَجَبٍ یَوْمٌ وَ لَیْلَةٌ فَعُمْرَتُکَ رَجَبِیَّةٌ.

Imam Sadiq (peace be upon him) said: If you enter the state of Ihram with one day and one night remaining in the month of Rajab, your Umrah will be considered as a Rajab Umrah!

5⃣عَنْ عِیسَی الْفَرَّاءِ عَنْ أَبِی عَبْدِ اللَّهِ قَالَ: إِذَا أَهَلَّ بِالْعُمْرَةِ فِی رَجَبٍ وَ أَحَلَّ فِی غَیْرِهِ کَانَتْ عُمْرَتُهُ لِرَجَبٍ وَ إِذَا أَهَلَّ فِی غَیْرِ رَجَبٍ وَ طَافَ فِی رَجَبٍ فَعُمْرَتُهُ لِرَجَبٍ.

Imam Sadiq (peace be upon him) said: If someone enters the state of Ihram in the month of Rajab and exits Ihram in another month, their Umrah will still be considered for the month of Rajab. Similarly, if someone enters Ihram in a month other than Rajab but performs the Tawaf of Umrah in the month of Rajab, their Umrah will be for the month of Rajab!

6⃣عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ الْحَجَّاجِ عَنْ أَبِی عَبْدِاللَّهِ عَنْ رَجُلٍ أَحْرَمَ فِی شَهْرٍ وَ أَحَلَّ فِی آخَرَ فَقَالَ یُکْتَبُ فِی الَّذِی قَدْ نَوَی أَوْ یُکْتَبُ لَهُ فِی أَفْضَلِهِمَا.

Imam Sadiq (peace be upon him) said regarding a person who enters Ihram in one month and exits Ihram in another: What they intended will be recorded for them, or the more virtuous of the two will be recorded for them!

✅ Based on the above narrations and others, although every lunar month has its own Umrah, the Umrah of the month of Rajab is the most virtuous among all months, even surpassing the Umrah of Ramadan.

✅ To qualify for the Umrah of Rajab, either entering the state of Ihram or performing the Tawaf must occur during the month of Rajab.
