1⃣ عن الهادي في زيارة الجامعة السَّلَامُ عَلَیْکُمْ یا أَهْلَ بَیْتِ النُّبُوَّةِ.... وَ کَهْفِ الْوَرَی....مُسْتَجِیرٌ بِکُمْ زَائِرٌ لَکُمْ لَائِذٌ عَائِذٌ بِقُبُورِکُمْ...

📚 *Al-Faqih*, Vol. 2, p. 373

In the *Ziyarat al-Jaami'a*, from Imam Hadi (peace be upon him), we read: 'Peace be upon you, O Family of Prophethood... and the refuge of all creatures... I seek refuge in you. I am your visitor and a seeker of refuge at your graves!'

2⃣ Imam Sadiq (peace be upon him) said: 'We believe that there is a grave behind Kufa (i.e., in Najaf) where no one who seeks refuge from hardship goes to it, except that Allah grants them healing!'

3⃣ Imam Ali (peace be upon him) in his will to Kumayl said: 'O Kumayl! When Satan whispers in your chest, say:'

أَعُوذُ بِاللَّهِ الْقَوِیِّ مِنَ الشَّیْطَانِ الْغَوِیِّ وَ أَعُوذُ بِمُحَمَّدٍ الرَّضِیِّ مِنْ شَرِّ مَا قُدِّرَ وَ قُضِیَ....

Meaning: 'I seek refuge in Allah, the All-Mighty, from the misguided Satan, and I seek refuge in Muhammad, the Pleasing, from the evil of what has been decreed!'

4⃣عن رسول اللَّه صلی اللَّه علیه و آله في حديث قال...أَمَّا الْحُسَیْنُ علیه السلام فَإِنَّهُ مِنِّی.... و غِیَاثُ الْمُسْتَغِیثِینَ و کَهْفُ الْمُسْتَجِیرِینَ....

📚 *Al-Amali al-Saduq*, p. 70

The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said in a narration: 'As for Hussain (peace be upon him), he is from me, and he is the one who answers the calls of those in distress and the refuge of the seekers of refuge!'

5⃣ Imam Zainul Abidin (peace be upon him) would perform his prayer when the sun declined, then make du'a, sending blessings upon the Prophet (peace be upon him) in this way:

اللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَی مُحَمَّدٍ [وَ آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ] الْکَهْفِ الْحَصِینِ وَ غِیَاثِ الْمُضْطَرِّینَ وَ مَلْجَإِ الْهَارِبِینَ وَ مُنْجِی الْخَائِفِینَ وَ عِصْمَةِ الْمُعْتَصِمِینَ...

Translation: 'O Allah! Send blessings upon Muhammad and (the Family of Muhammad), who are the firm refuge, the savior of those in distress, the shelter for the seekers of refuge, the deliverer of the fearful, and the protector of those seeking refuge...'

6⃣ Mufaddal said: Imam Sadiq (peace be upon him) said: 'If you can spend a night without sleeping and seek refuge with eleven words, do so. I said: 'O son of the Messenger of Allah! Please tell me what they are!' He said:

أَعُوذُ بِعِزَّةِ اللَّهِ أَعُوذُ بِقُدْرَةِ اللَّهِ أَعُوذُ بِجَلَالِ اللَّهِ أَعُوذُ بِجَمَالِ اللَّهِ أَعُوذُ بِسُلْطَانِ اللَّهِ أَعُوذُ بِدَفْعِ اللَّهِ أَعُوذُ بِمَنِّ اللَّهِ أَعُوذُ بِجَمْعِ اللَّهِ أَعُوذُ بِمُلْکِ اللَّهِ أَعُوذُ بِتَمَامِ رَحْمَةِ اللَّهِ أَعُوذُ بِرَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَیْهِ و عَلَی أَهْلِ بَیْتِهِ مِنْ شَرِّ مَا خَلَقَ و ذَرَأَ و بَرَأَ

And with it, seek refuge from what you wish, so that neither biting creatures, nor jinn, nor humans, nor Satan will harm you, Insha'Allah!

📚 *Al-Kafi*, Vol. 2, p. 536

7⃣ Imam Sadiq (peace be upon him) said: 'When you settle in your bed, say:'

أَعُوذُ بِعِزَّةِ اللَّهِ و أَعُوذُ بِقُدْرَةِ اللَّهِ وَ أَعُوذُ بِکَمَالِ اللَّهِ وَ أَعُوذُ بِسُلْطَانِ اللَّهِ وَ أَعُوذُ بِجَبَرُوتِ اللَّهِ وَ أَعُوذُ بِدَفْعِ اللَّهِ وَ أَعُوذُ بِجَمْعِ اللَّهِ وَ أَعُوذُ بِمُلْکِ اللَّهِ وَ أَعُوذُ بِرَحْمَةِ اللَّهِ وَ أَعُوذُ بِرَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلی الله علیه و آله مِنْ شَرِّ ما خَلَقَ وَ ذَرَأَ وَ بَرَأَ وَ مِنْ شَرِّ الْعَامَّةِ وَ السَّامَّةِ وَ مِنْ شَرِّ فَسَقَةِ الْجِنِّ وَ الْإِنْسِ و مِنْ شَرِّ فَسَقَةِ الْعَرَبِ وَ الْعَجَمِ وَ مِنْ شَرِّ کُلِّ دَابَّةٍ فِی اللَّیْلِ وَ النَّهَارِ أَنْتَ آخِذٌ بِناصِیَتِها إِنَّ رَبِّی عَلی صِراطٍ مُسْتَقِیمٍ

And anyone you wish can also be blessed with protection!

📚 *Falah al-Sa'il*, p. 374

8⃣ Ibrahim said: 'I came to Imam Sadiq (peace be upon him) and complained about the pain I was experiencing. The Imam said: 'Say in the name of Allah, place your hand on it, and then say:'

أَعُوذُ بِعِزَّةِ اللَّهِ و أَعُوذُ بِقُدْرَةِ اللَّهِ و أَعُوذُ بِرَحْمَةِ اللَّهِ و أَعُوذُ بِجَلَالِ اللَّهِ و أَعُوذُ بِعَظَمَةِ اللَّهِ وَ أَعُوذُ بِجَمْعِ اللَّهِ وَ أَعُوذُ بِرَسُولِ اللَّهِ و أَعُوذُ بِأَسْمَاءِ اللَّهِ مِنْ شَرِّ مَا أَحْذَرُ و مِنْ شَرِّ ما أَخَافُ عَلَی نَفْسی

Say it seven times. He said: 'I did so, and Allah, the Almighty, removed the pain from me!'

✅ According to the numerous hadiths, prayers, and ziyarat narrations, all the Infallibles are the refuge and shelter of all creatures. Seeking refuge in them, and even in their graves, and praying for others to be in the protection of the Imams (peace be upon them), is an absolutely correct, life-saving, and even necessary act.
