Question 1894: I intend to buy several beehives for production and sale, and it is natural that my family will take from them for consumption. My problem is that I have a Nasibi and cursed brother, and he also takes from them. What should I do in this case?
✅ Answer: Refer to the following narrations:
📚 Tehzib, Vol. 4, p. 53
Umar bin Yazid said: I asked Imam (peace be upon him) about giving charity to Nasibis and Zaydis. Imam said: Do not give anything to them, and if you can, do not let them drink water. He also said: Zaydis are also Nasibis!
📚 Al-Kafi, Vol. 4, p. 13
Sadir said: I asked Imam Sadiq (peace be upon him): Should I feed a beggar whom I do not know whether he is a Muslim? He said: Yes, give to him whom you do not know to be hostile to the truth or hostile to the authority of the truth. Allah (Exalted is He) says in Surah Al-Baqarah, verse 83: 'Say good words to people,' and do not feed someone who is hostile to the truth or calls to falsehood!
📚 Usul Zayd al-Narsi, p. 51
Imam Sadiq (peace be upon him) said in a narration: Never feel pity for a Nasibi, do not give him food, and do not give him drink, even if he dies from hunger and thirst, and his cry does not reach you. For my father, the best of the family of Muhammad (peace be upon him), used to say: Whoever feeds a Nasibi, Allah will fill his stomach with fire on the Day of Judgment, whether he is punished or forgiven!
📚 Mustadrakāt al-Sarā'ir, p. 68
Imam Hadi (peace be upon him) wrote in response to a question from Muhammad bin Ali bin Isa: Whoever gives charity to a Nasibi, his charity will be to his own harm, not to his benefit!
📚 Al-Kafi, Vol. 2, p. 200
Imam Sadiq (peace be upon him) said: Whoever feeds a believer, paradise becomes obligatory for him. Whoever feeds a disbeliever, it is the right of Allah to fill his stomach with Zaqqum (the tree of hell), whether he is a believer or a disbeliever!
📚 Ma'ani al-Akhbar, p. 365
Imam Sadiq (peace be upon him) said: Whoever feeds an enemy of ours, has killed a friend of ours!
📚 Al-Kafi, Vol. 2, p. 156
Jahm said: I asked Imam Sadiq (peace be upon him): I have relatives who are not in my sect (they are non-Shia or non-Muslim), do they still have rights over me? Imam said: Yes! The right of kinship is not severed by anything. And if your kin are in your sect (Shia), they have two rights: the right of kinship and the right of Islam!
✅ From the above narrations, it is clear that giving charity or feeding disbelievers, Nasibis, Zaydis, and the enemies of the Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them) is strongly prohibited.
However, regarding the question above, considering narration 7⃣ and others, since the brother is part of the kinship, and the right of kinship is not severed by anything, there is no harm in giving him food, or helping him, or offering charity to him.
