1⃣عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ سُلَیْمَانَ الْبَصْرِیِّ عَنْ أَبِیهِ عَنْ أَبِی عَبْدِ اللَّهِ قَالَ: فِی طِینِ قَبْرِ الْحُسَیْنِ الشِّفَاءُ مِنْ کُلِّ دَاءٍ وَ هُوَ الدَّوَاءُ الْأَکْبَرُ.

Imam Sadiq (peace be upon him) said about the soil of the grave of Imam Hussain (peace be upon him): It is a cure for every ailment and is the greatest remedy!

2⃣عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ عَلِیٍّ عَنْ یُونُسَ بْنِ الرَّبِیعِ عَنْ أَبِی عَبْدِ اللَّهِ قَالَ: إِنَّ عِنْدَ رَأْسِ الْحُسَیْنِ لَتُرْبَةً حَمْرَاءَ فِیهَا شِفَاءٌ مِنْ کُلِّ دَاءٍ إِلَّا السَّامَ.

Imam Sadiq (peace be upon him) said: Indeed, near the head of Imam Hussain (peace be upon him) is red soil that is a cure for every illness except death!

3⃣عَنْ أَبِی الصَّبَّاحِ الْکِنَانِیِّ عَنْ أَبِی عَبْدِ اللَّهِ قَالَ: طِینُ قَبْرِ الْحُسَیْنِ فِیهِ شِفَاءٌ وَ إِنْ أُخِذَ عَلَی رَأْسِ مِیلٍ.

Imam Sadiq (peace be upon him) said: There is healing in the soil of the grave of Imam Hussain (peace be upon him), even if taken from a distance of one mile!

3⃣ عَنِ الْحَجَّالِ عَنْ غَیْرِ وَاحِدٍ مِنْ أَصْحَابِنَا عَنْ أَبِی عَبْدِ اللَّهِ قَالَ: التُّرْبَةُ مِنْ قَبْرِ الْحُسَیْنِ بْنِ عَلِیٍّ عَلَی عَشَرَةِ أَمْیَالٍ.

Imam Sadiq (peace be upon him) said: The soil of the grave of Imam Hussain (peace be upon him) extends up to ten miles!

4⃣عَنْ سُلَیْمَانَ بْنِ عُمَرَ السَّرَّاجِ عَنْ بَعْضِ أَصْحَابِهِ عَنْ أَبِی عَبْدِ اللَّهِ قَالَ: یُؤْخَذُ طِینُ قَبْرِ الْحُسَیْنِ مِنْ عِنْدِ الْقَبْرِ عَلَی سَبْعِینَ ذِرَاعاً.

Imam Sadiq (peace be upon him) said: The soil of the grave of Imam Hussain (peace be upon him) can be taken from a distance of seventy cubits (approximately 35 meters) from the grave!

5⃣عَنِ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ سَعِیدٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ الْأَصَمِّ عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِی عُمَیْرٍ عَنْ أَبِی حَمْزَةَ الثُّمَالِیِّ عَنْ أَبِی عَبْدِ اللَّهِ فِی حَدِیثٍ أَنَّهُ سُئِلَ عَنْ طِینِ الْحَائِرِ هَلْ فِیهِ شَیْءٌ مِنَ الشِّفَاءِ فَقَالَ یُسْتَشْفَی مَا بَیْنَهُ وَ بَیْنَ الْقَبْرِ عَلَی رَأْسِ أَرْبَعَةِ أَمْیَالٍ.....

📚 Kamil al-Ziyarat, Page 280

In a hadith, Imam Sadiq (peace be upon him) was asked about the soil of the shrine of Imam Hussain (peace be upon him) and whether there is any healing in it. The Imam replied: Healing is sought from it up to a distance of four miles around it!

✅ Based on the above and other narrations, the soil of Imam Hussain (peace be upon him) is a cure for every ailment and is the greatest remedy. The range for taking it, based on varying levels of virtue, extends from near the grave to seventy cubits, one mile, four miles, and even up to ten miles from the surrounding area of the grave, and it can be taken for healing, protection, and blessing!

✅ According to narrations in this link, each mile is approximately 1820 meters, so four miles is approximately 7280 meters (about 7 kilometers), and ten miles is approximately 18200 meters (about 18 kilometers)!
