1⃣عَنْ حَفْصِ بْنِ غِیَاثٍ النَّخَعِیِّ عَنْ أَبِی عَبْدِ اللَّهِ قَالَ: مَنْ أَرَادَ سَفَراً فَلْیُسَافِرْ یَوْمَ السَّبْتِ فَلَوْ أَنَّ حَجَراً زَالَ عَنْ جَبَلٍ فِی یَوْمِ سَبْتٍ لَرَدَّهُ اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَ جَلَّ إِلَی مَکَانِهِ.

📚 Al-Fiqh, Vol. 2, p. 266

Imam Sadiq (peace be upon him) said: Whoever intends to travel, should travel on Saturday because if a stone is dislodged from a mountain on a Saturday, by the blessing of this day, Allah, the Exalted and Majestic, will return it to its place!

2⃣عَنِ السَّرِیِّ عَنْ أَبِی الْحَسَنِ عَلِیِّ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ قَالَ: یُکْرَهُ السَّفَرُ وَ السَّعْیُ فِی الْحَوَائِجِ یَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ بُکْرَةً مِنْ أَجْلِ الصَّلَاةِ فَأَمَّا بَعْدَ الصَّلَاةِ فَجَائِزٌ یُتَبَرَّکُ بِهِ.

Imam Hadi (peace be upon him) said: Traveling and seeking one’s needs at the beginning of Friday is disliked because of the prayer, but after the prayer, it is permitted and brings blessings!

3⃣عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ سُلَیْمَانَ عَنْ أَبِی جَعْفَرٍ قَالَ: کَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ یُسَافِرُ یَوْمَ الْخَمِیسِ.

📚 Al-Fiqh, Vol. 2, p. 266

Imam Baqir (peace be upon him) said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him and his family) used to travel on Thursdays!

4⃣عَنْ أَبِی أَیُّوبَ الْخَزَّازِ قَالَ: أَرَدْنَا أَنْ نَخْرُجَ فَجِئْنَا نُسَلِّمُ عَلَی أَبِی عَبْدِ اللَّهِ فَقَالَ کَأَنَّکُمْ طَلَبْتُمْ بَرَکَةَ الْإِثْنَیْنِ فَقُلْنَا نَعَمْ فَقَالَ وَ أَیُّ یَوْمٍ أَعْظَمُ شُؤْماً مِنْ یَوْمِ الْإِثْنَیْنِ یَوْمٍ فَقَدْنَا فِیهِ نَبِیَّنَا وَ ارْتَفَعَ الْوَحْیُ عَنَّا لَا تَخْرُجُوا وَ اخْرُجُوا یَوْمَ الثَّلَاثَاءِ.

📚 Al-Kafi, Vol. 8, p. 314

Abu Ayyub says: We intended to travel and came to bid farewell to Imam Sadiq (peace be upon him). The Imam said: It seems you are seeking the blessings of Monday? We said: Yes! The Imam said: Which day of Monday is more inauspicious? The day when we lost our Prophet and the revelation was cut off from us! (Today) do not go out, and travel on Tuesday!

5⃣عَنْ عَلِیِّ بْنِ جَعْفَرٍ قَالَ: جَاءَ رَجُلٌ إِلَی أَخِی مُوسَی بْنِ جَعْفَرٍ فَقَالَ إِنِّی أُرِیدُ الْخُرُوجَ فَادْعُ لِی قَالَ وَ مَتَی تَخْرُجُ قَالَ یَوْمَ الْإِثْنَیْنِ فَقَالَ لَهُ وَ لِمَ تَخْرُجُ یَوْمَ الْإِثْنَیْنِ قَالَ أَطْلُبُ فِیهِ الْبَرَکَةَ لِأَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ وُلِدَ یَوْمَ الْإِثْنَیْنِ قَالَ کَذَبُوا وُلِدَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ یَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ وَ مَا مِنْ یَوْمٍ أَعْظَمَ شُؤْماً مِنْ یَوْمِ الْإِثْنَیْنِ یَوْمَ مَاتَ فِیهِ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ وَ انْقَطَعَ فِیهِ وَحْیُ السَّمَاءِ وَ ظُلِمْنَا فِیهِ حَقَّنَا أَ لَا أَدُلُّکَ عَلَی یَوْمٍ سَهْلٍ لَیِّنٍ أَلَانَ اللَّهُ لِدَاوُدَ فِیهِ الْحَدِیدَ فَقَالَ الرَّجُلُ بَلَی جُعِلْتُ فِدَاکَ فَقَالَ اخْرُجْ یَوْمَ الثَّلَاثَاءِ.

📚 Al-Khisal, p. 385, Hadith 67.

Ali ibn Ja'far says: A man came to my brother, Musa ibn Ja'far (peace be upon him), and said: I intend to travel, so pray for me! The Imam said: When are you leaving? He said: Monday! The Imam said: Why are you traveling on Monday? The man said: I seek its blessings because the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him and his family) was born on a Monday! The Imam said: They have lied! The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him and his family) was born on a Friday, and no day is more inauspicious than Monday, when the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him and his family) passed away, the divine revelation was cut off, and the right to our Imamate was usurped!

Shall I not guide you to an easy and soft day, on which Allah softened iron for Prophet David (peace be upon him)? The man said: Yes, may I be your ransom! The Imam said: Travel on Tuesday!

6⃣رَوَی إِبْرَاهِیمُ بْنُ أَبِی یَحْیَی الْمَدِینِیُّ عَنْهُ علیه السلام أَنَّهُ قَالَ لَا بَأْسَ بِالْخُرُوجِ فِی السَّفَرِ لَیْلَةَ الْجُمُعَةِ

📚 Al-Fiqh, Vol. 2, p. 173

Imam Sadiq (peace be upon him) said: There is no issue with traveling on Friday night!
