1⃣ابْنُ الْمُتَوَکِّلِ عَنْ مُحَمَّدٍ الْعَطَّارِ عَنِ الْأَشْعَرِیِّ عَنِ الْیَقْطِینِیِّ عَنْ سُلَیْمَانَ بْنِ رُشَیْدٍ عَنْ أَبِیهِ عَنْ مُعَاوِیَةَ بْنِ عَمَّارٍ قَالَ: ذَکَرْتُ عِنْدَ أَبِی عَبْدِ اللَّهِ عَلَیْهِ السَّلَامُ بَعْضَ الْأَنْبِیَاءِ فَصَلَّیْتُ عَلَیْهِ فَقَالَ إِذَا ذُکِرَ أَحَدٌ مِنَ الْأَنْبِیَاءِ فَابْدَأْ بِالصَّلَاةِ عَلَی مُحَمَّدٍ ثُمَّ عَلَیْهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَی مُحَمَّدٍ وَ آلِهِ وَ عَلَی جَمِیعِ الْأَنْبِیَاءِ.

📚 *Amali* by al-Tusi, p. 424

Muawiyah bin Ammar says: I mentioned one of the prophets in the presence of Imam Sadiq (peace be upon him) and sent blessings upon him. Then Imam said: 'When the name of a prophet is mentioned, start by sending blessings upon Muhammad (peace be upon him) and his family, and then send blessings upon that prophet.'

صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَی مُحَمَّدٍ وَ آلِهِ وَ عَلَی جَمِیعِ الْأَنْبِیَاءِ.

2⃣ عَنْ عَلِیِّ بْنِ الْحُسَیْنِ الْمُؤَدِّبِ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ جَعْفَرٍ عَنْ أَبِیهِ عَنْ یَعْقُوبَ بْنِ یَزِیدَ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ أَبِی عُمَیْرٍ عَنْ أَبَانِ بْنِ عُثْمَانَ عَنْ أَبَانِ بْنِ تَغْلِبَ عَنْ أَبِی جَعْفَرٍ عَنْ آبَائِهِ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ مَنْ صَلَّی عَلَیَّ وَ لَمْ یُصَلِّ عَلَی آلِی لَمْ یَجِدْ رِیحَ الْجَنَّةِ وَ إِنَّ رِیحَهَا لَیُوجَدُ مِنْ مَسِیرَةِ خَمْسِمِائَةِ عَامٍ.

📚 *Amali* by al-Saduq, p. 167, Hadith 9

Imam Baqir (peace be upon him) narrated from his ancestors that the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: 'Whoever sends blessings upon me but does not send blessings upon my family will not smell the fragrance of Paradise, although its fragrance can be smelled from a distance of five hundred years!'

3⃣عَنْ عَلِیٍّ عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ قَالَ: لَا تُصَلُّوا عَلَیَّ صَلَاةً مَبْتُورَةً بَلْ صِلُوا إِلَیَّ أَهْلَ بَیْتِی وَ لَا تَقْطَعُوهُمْ

📚 *Al-Muhkam wa al-Mutashabih*, p. 19

Amir al-Mu'minin (peace be upon him) narrated from the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) who said: 'Do not send incomplete and broken blessings upon me, but also connect them with my family and do not separate them!'

✅ Based on the above radiant narrations, when the name of one of the previous prophets is mentioned, blessings are first sent upon Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), and according to narrations 2⃣ and 3⃣, and others, blessings are also sent upon his family, and then upon the mentioned prophet.

✅ In narration 1⃣, when Imam (peace be upon him) mentioned the prophets, he included all the prophets alongside Muhammad and his family (peace be upon them all) and said: 'Blessings of Allah upon Muhammad and his family and upon all the prophets.'

However, when someone mentions the name of a specific prophet, to act upon the above instruction, they should say, for example, like this:

صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَی مُحَمَّدٍ وَ آلِهِ وَ عَلَیْهِ

مثلا می‌گوید : حضرت عیسی صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَی مُحَمَّدٍ وَ آلِهِ وَ عَلَیْهِ

Or similar phrases that include blessings upon the Prophet and his family, followed by blessings upon the mentioned prophet.

اللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَی مُحَمَّدٍ وَ آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ وَ عَجِّلْ لِوَلِیِّکَ الْفَرَجَ وَ الْعَافِیَةَ وَ النَّصْر
