Imam Sadiq (peace be upon him) said: A glance (at the forbidden) is one of the poisoned arrows of Satan, and sometimes a single glance brings about long-lasting regret!

2⃣عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ سِنَانٍ عَنِ الرِّضَا فِیمَا کَتَبَهُ إِلَیْهِ مِنْ جَوَابِ مَسَائِلِهِ وَ حُرِّمَ النَّظَرُ إِلَی شُعُورِ النِّسَاءِ الْمَحْجُوبَاتِ بِالْأَزْوَاجِ وَ إِلَی غَیْرِهِنَّ مِنَ النِّسَاءِ لِمَا فِیهِ مِنْ تَهْیِیجِ الرِّجَالِ وَ مَا یَدْعُو إِلَیْهِ التَّهْیِیجُ مِنَ الْفَسَادِ وَ الدُّخُولِ فِیمَا لَا یَحِلُّ وَ لَا یَجْمُلُ وَ کَذَلِکَ مَا أَشْبَهَ الشُّعُورَ...

📚 Al-'Ilal al-Shara'i, Volume 2, Page 565

Imam Reza (peace be upon him) said: Looking at the hair of married women and others is forbidden because it stimulates men, and this stimulation leads them to corruption and into what is neither lawful nor beautiful, and the same applies to looking at what is like hair...

✅ It is evident that the apparent meaning of these narrations, along with many other similar narrations, is absolute, encompassing any lustful and corrupt gaze. It is advisable for those who are cautious and avoid doubts to refrain from looking at non-mahram individuals, even in pictures, videos, or images. Inshallah.
