✅ Answer: There is no narration prohibiting the pursuit of needs, scheduling tasks, or spending money on Saturday. In fact, some narrations specifically and generally recommend certain activities on Saturdays. Consider the following narrations:

1⃣عَنْ دَارِمِ بْنِ قَبِیصَةَ وَ نُعَیْمِ بْنِ صَالِحٍ جَمِیعاً عَنِ الرِّضَا عَنْ آبَائِهِ عَنِ النَّبِیِّ قَالَ: اللَّهُمَّ بَارِکْ لِأُمَّتِی فِی بُکُورِهَا یَوْمَ سَبْتِهَا وَ خَمِیسِهَا.

Imam Reza (peace be upon him) narrated from his ancestors that the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him and his family) said: 'O Allah! Bless my Ummah in their Saturday and Thursday mornings!'

2⃣عَنْ أَبِی أَیُّوبَ الْخَزازِ عَنْ أَبِی عَبْدِ اللَّهِ أَنَّهُ سَأَلَهُ عَنْ قَوْلِ اللَّهِ عَزَّ وَ جَلَّ فَإِذا قُضِیَتِ الصَّلاةُ فَانْتَشِرُوا فِی الْأَرْضِ وَ ابْتَغُوا مِنْ فَضْلِ اللَّهِ قَالَ الصَّلَاةُ یَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ- وَ الِانْتِشَارُ یَوْمَ السَّبْتِ.

📚 Al-Faqih, Vol. 1, p. 424

Abu Ayyub Khazzaz asked Imam Sadiq (peace be upon him) about the words of Allah the Almighty in Surah Al-Jumu'ah, verse 10, which says: 'When the prayer is over, disperse in the land and seek the bounty of Allah.' The Imam said: 'The prayer is on Friday, and the dispersal is on Saturday.'

3⃣قَالَ وَ قَالَ السَّبْتُ لِبَنِی هَاشِمٍ وَ الْأَحَدُ لِبَنِی أُمَیَّةَ

📚 Al-Faqih, Vol. 1, p. 425

Imam Sadiq (peace be upon him) said: 'Saturday is for the Bani Hashim, and Sunday is for the Bani Umayyah.'

4⃣عَنْ حَفْصِ بْنِ غِیَاثٍ النَّخَعِیِّ عَنْ أَبِی عَبْدِ اللَّهِ قَالَ: مَنْ أَرَادَ سَفَراً فَلْیُسَافِرْ یَوْمَ السَّبْتِ فَلَوْ أَنَّ حَجَراً زَالَ عَنْ جَبَلٍ فِی یَوْمِ سَبْتٍ لَرَدَّهُ اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَ جَلَّ إِلَی مَکَانِهِ.

📚 Al-Faqih, Vol. 2, p. 266

Imam Sadiq (peace be upon him) said: 'Whoever intends to travel, let him travel on Saturday because if a stone is dislodged from a mountain on Saturday, Allah the Almighty will return it to its place.'

5⃣عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ یَحْیَی الْخَثْعَمِیِّ عَنْ أَبِی عَبْدِ اللَّهِ قَالَ: لَا تَخْرُجْ یَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ فِی حَاجَةٍ فَإِذَا کَانَ یَوْمُ السَّبْتِ وَ طَلَعَتِ الشَّمْسُ فَاخْرُجْ فِی حَاجَتِکَ.

📚 Al-Faqih, Vol. 2, p. 267

Imam Sadiq (peace be upon him) said: 'Do not go out to seek needs on Friday. When Saturday arrives and the sun rises, go out to seek your work and needs.'

✅ However, the best Saturday for Shiites is described below:

6⃣عَنْ أَبِي بَصِيرٍ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ قَالَ قَالَ أَبُو جَعْفَرٍ يَخْرُجُ الْقَائِمُ يَوْمَ السَّبْتِ يَوْمَ عَاشُورَاءَ الْيَوْمَ الَّذِي قُتِلَ فِيهِ الْحُسَيْنُ وَ يَقْطَعُ أَيْدِيَ بَنِي شَيْبَةَ وَ يُعَلِّقُهَا فِي الْكَعْبَةِ

📚 Tahdhib, Vol. 4, p. 333

Imam Sadiq (peace be upon him) said: Imam Baqir (peace be upon him) said: 'The Qa'im (may Allah hasten his reappearance) will rise on a Saturday, which coincides with Ashura, the day Imam Hussain (peace be upon him) was martyred. He will cut off the hands of the Bani Shaybah (the custodians of the Kaaba who are also thieves of the House of Allah) and hang them on the Kaaba.'

✅ The narrations above show that Saturday is recommended for travel, seeking work and needs, and earning a livelihood. The belief held by some people that tasks should not be scheduled for Saturday or that money should not be spent on Saturday morning lacks any narrational basis.

✅ To hasten the arrival of the awaited Saturday mentioned in narration 6⃣, we should frequently and continuously pray with humility:

اللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَی مُحَمَّدٍ وَ آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ وَ عَجِّلْ لِوَلِیِّکَ الْفَرَجَ وَ الْعَافِیَةَ وَ النَّصْر

بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمنِ الرَّحِیمِ

صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَی مُحَمَّدٍ وَ آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ

According to the sayings of the Infallibles (peace be upon them), the blessed day of Saturday, the first working day of the week, and the day for seeking livelihood, needs, and tasks, is for the Shiites of Amir al-Mu'minin (peace be upon him). Non-Shiites can do whatever they wish!

If we do not fervently pray for the hastening of the reappearance and follow the instructions of the Ahlul Bayt (peace be upon them), our opponents will gradually take everything from us. Therefore, we must wake up, stay vigilant, and chant:

اللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَی مُحَمَّدٍ وَ آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ وَ عَجِّلْ لِوَلِیِّکَ الْفَرَجَ وَ الْعَافِیَةَ وَ النَّصْر
