1⃣عَنْ أَبُوعَبْداَللَّه اَلْحَرَّانِيُّ قَالَ: قُلْتُ لِأَبِي عَبْداَللَّه عَلَيْهِ اَلسَّلاَمُ مَا لِمَنْ زَارَ قَبْرَ اَلْحُسَيْنِ عَلَيْهِ اَلسَّلاَمُ قَالَ مَنْ أَتَاهُ وَ زَارَهُ وَ صَلَّى عِنْدَهُ رَكْعَتَيْنِ كُتِبَ لَهُ حَجَّةٌ مَبْرُورَةٌ فَإِنْ صَلَّى عِنْدَهُ أَرْبَعَ رَكَعَاتٍ كُتِبَتْ لَهُ حَجَّةٌ وَ عُمْرَةٌ قُلْتُ جُعِلْتُ فِدَاكَ وَ كَذَلِكَ لِكُلِّ مَنْ زَارَ إِمَاماً مُفْتَرَضَةً طَاعَتُهُ قَالَ و كَذَلِكَ كُلُّ مَنْ زَارَ إِمَاماً مُفْتَرَضَةً طَاعَتُهُ.

Abu Abdullah Harani said: I asked Imam Sadiq, peace be upon him: What is the reward for someone who visits the grave of Imam Hussein, peace be upon him? The Imam replied: Whoever goes to his grave, visits him, and prays two rak'ahs there, one accepted Hajj will be written for him. If he prays four rak'ahs, one Hajj and one Umrah will be written for him!

I asked: May I be your ransom! Is this the same for anyone who visits an Imam whose obedience is obligatory? The Imam replied: Yes, it is the same for anyone who visits an Imam whose obedience is obligatory!

2⃣عن أَبِی النُّمَیْرِ قال قال أَبُوجَعْفَرٍ علیه السلام: إِنَّ وَلَایَتَنَا عُرِضَتْ عَلَی أَهْلِ الْأَمْصَارِ فَلَمْ یَقْبَلْهَا قَبُولَ أَهْلِ الْکُوفَةِ وَ ذَلِکَ أَنَّ قَبْرَ عَلِیٍّ علیه السلام فِیهَا وَ إِنَّ إِلَی لِزْقِهِ لَقَبْراً آخَرَ یَعْنِی قَبْرَ الْحُسَیْنِ صَلَوَاتُ اللَّهِ عَلَیْهِمَا فَمَا مِنْ آتٍ یَأْتِیهِ یُصَلِّی عِنْدَهُ علیه السلام رَکْعَتَیْنِ أَوْ أَرْبَعَةً ثُمَّ یَسْأَلُ اللَّهَ حَاجَةً إِلَّا قَضَاهَا لَهُ...

📚 Kamil al-Ziyarat, p. 168

Imam Baqir, peace be upon him, said: Indeed, our wilayah (authority) was presented to the people of the cities, and no one accepted it like the people of Kufa did, and this is because the grave of Imam Ali, peace be upon him, is there! And attached to it is the grave of Imam Hussein, peace be upon them, where no one comes to pray two or four rak'ahs and asks Allah for a need except that He grants it for them...

3⃣عن ابن أبی عمیر عن رجل عن أبی جعفر قال: قَالَ لِرَجُلٍ یَا فُلَانُ مَا یَمْنَعُکَ إِذَا عَرَضَتْ لَکَ حَاجَةٌ أَنْ تَأْتِیَ قَبْرَ الْحُسَیْنِ فَتُصَلِّیَ عِنْدَهُ أَرْبَعَ رَکَعَاتٍ ثُمَّ تَسْأَلَ حَاجَتَکَ فَإِنَّ الصَّلَاةَ الْمَفْرُوضَةَ عِنْدَهُ تَعْدِلُ حَجَّةً وَ الصَّلَاةَ النَّافِلَةَ عِنْدَهُ تَعْدِلُ عُمْرَةً.

📚 Al-Tahdhib, Vol. 6, p. 73

Imam Baqir, peace be upon him, said to a man: So-and-so, what is stopping you from going to the grave of Hussein, peace be upon him, when you need something and praying four rak'ahs, then asking for your need?! Indeed, obligatory prayer at his grave is equivalent to Hajj, and voluntary prayer there is equivalent to Umrah!

4⃣عن المفضل بن عمر قال: قال أَبُوعَبْداللَّهِ فی حَدِیثٍ فِی زِیَارَةِ الْحُسَیْنِ ثُمَّ تَمْضِی یَا مُفَضَّلُ إِلَی صَلَاتِکَ وَ لَکَ بِکُلِّ رَکْعَةٍ تَرْکَعُهَا عِنْدَهُ کَثَوَابِ مَنْ حَجَّ أَلْفَ حَجَّةٍ وَ اعْتَمَرَ أَلْفَ عُمْرَةٍ وَ أَعْتَقَ أَلْفَ رَقَبَةٍ و کَأَنَّمَا وَقَفَ فِی سَبِیلِ اللَّهِ أَلْفَ مَرَّةٍ مَعَ نَبِیٍّ مُرْسَلٍ....

📚 Kamil al-Ziyarat, p. 251

Imam Sadiq, peace be upon him, said in a narration about the visit to Imam Hussein, peace be upon him: O Mufaddal! After the visit, you go to pray, and for every rak'ah you pray at his grave, it will be as if you performed a thousand Hajj and a thousand Umrah and freed a thousand slaves, as if you stood a thousand times in the way of Allah alongside the Messenger of Allah!

5⃣قَالَ الصَّادِقُ مَنْ زَارَ وَاحِداً مِنَّا کَانَ کَمَنْ زَارَ الْحُسَیْنَ.

📚 Thawab al-A'mal, p. 126

Imam Sadiq, peace be upon him, said: Whoever visits one of us is like the one who visits Imam Hussein, peace be upon him!

6⃣ Imam Askari, peace be upon him, said in a narration: What is applicable to the first among us is also applicable to the last among us!

جَری لآِخِرِنَا مَا جَری لاِوَّلِنَا

📚 Al-Kafi, Vol. 7, p. 85

✅ There is no narration that directly compares prayer in a mosque to prayer by the graves of the Ahl al-Bayt, peace be upon them. However, in the narrations above, there are numerous virtues and great rewards mentioned for both obligatory and voluntary prayers at the graves of the Ahl al-Bayt, peace be upon them!
