1⃣عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَارَةَ عَنْ أَبِیهِ قال قال الصَّادِقُ علیه السلام مَنْ أَنْکَرَ ثَلَاثَةَ أَشْیَاءَ فَلَیْسَ مِنْ شِیعَتِنَا الْمِعْرَاجَ و الْمُسَاءَلَةَ فِی الْقَبْرِ و الشَّفَاعَة

Imam Sadiq (peace be upon him) said: Whoever denies three things is not among our Shia: the Mi'raj (ascension), questioning and answering in the grave, and intercession.

2⃣عن عَمْرِو بْنِ الْأَشْعَثِ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ أَباعبداللَّه علیه السلام یَقُولُ یُسْأَلُ الرَّجُلُ فِی قَبْرِهِ فَإِذَا أَثْبَتَ فُسِحَ لَهُ فِی قَبْرِهِ سَبْعَةَ أَذْرُعٍ و فُتِحَ لَهُ بَابٌ إِلَی الْجَنَّةِ و قِیلَ لَهُ نَمْ نَوْمَةَ الْعَرُوسِ قَرِیرَ الْعَیْن

Amr ibn al-Ash'ath heard Imam Sadiq (peace be upon him) say: A person is questioned in their grave. If they remain steadfast, their grave is expanded seven cubits for them, and a door to paradise is opened for them. They are told: Sleep like a bride with bright eyes!

3⃣عن أبی الحسن موسی علیه السلام قال: یُقَالُ لِلْمُؤْمِنِ فی قَبْرِهِ مَنْ رَبُّکَ قال فَیَقُولُ اللَّهُ فَیُقَالُ لَهُ ما دِینُکَ فَیَقُولُ الْإِسْلَامُ فَیُقَالُ مَنْ نَبِیُّکَ فَیَقُولُ مُحَمَّدٌ صلی الله علیه و آله فَیُقَالُ مَنْ إِمَامُکَ فَیَقُولُ فُلَانٌ فَیُقَالُ کَیْفَ عَلِمْتَ بِذَلِکَ فَیَقُولُ أَمْرٌ هَدَانِیَ اللَّهُ لَهُ وَ ثَبَّتَنِی عَلَیْهِ فَیُقَالُ لَهُ نَمْ نَوْمَةً لَا حُلُمَ فِیهَا نَوْمَةَ الْعَرُوسِ ثُمَّ یُفْتَحُ لَهُ بَابٌ إِلَی الْجَنَّةِ فَیَدْخُلُ إِلَیْهِ مِنْ رَوْحِهَا وَ رَیْحَانِهَا فَیَقُولُ یَا رَبِّ عَجِّلْ قِیَامَ السَّاعَةِ لَعَلِّی أَرْجِعُ إِلَی أَهْلِی وَ مَالِی وَ یُقَالُ لِلْکَافِرِ مَنْ رَبُّکَ فَیَقُولُ اللَّهُ فَیُقَالُ مَنْ نَبِیُّکَ فَیَقُولُ مُحَمَّدٌ فَیُقَالُ مَا دِینُکَ فَیَقُولُ الْإِسْلَامُ فَیُقَالُ مِنْ أَیْنَ عَلِمْتَ ذَلِکَ فَیَقُولُ سَمِعْتُ النَّاسَ یَقُولُونَ فَقُلْتُهُ فَیَضْرِبَانِهِ بِمِرْزَبَةٍ لَوِ اجْتَمَعَ عَلَیْهَا الثَّقَلَانِ الْإِنْسُ وَ الْجِنُّ لَمْ یُطِیقُوهَا قَالَ فَیَذُوبُ کَمَا یَذُوبُ الرَّصَاصُ ثُمَّ یُعِیدَانِ فِیهِ الرُّوحَ فَیُوضَعُ قَلْبُهُ بَیْنَ لَوْحَیْنِ مِنْ نَارٍ فَیَقُولُ یَا رَبِّ أَخِّرْ قِیَامَ السَّاعَة

Imam Sadiq (peace be upon him) said: The believer is asked in their grave: Who is your Lord? They reply: Allah!

Then they are asked: What is your religion? They reply: Islam!

Then they are asked: Who is your prophet? They reply: Muhammad (peace be upon him and his family).

Then they are asked: Who is your Imam? They reply: [The name of their current Imam or the Imams, peace be upon them].

Then they are asked: How did you come to know this? They reply: It is something Allah guided me to and kept me steadfast in!

Then they are told: Sleep like the sleep of a bride who does not have disturbing dreams! Then a door to paradise is opened for them, and they receive its fragrance and blessings. They say: O Lord! Hasten the establishment of the Hour so that I may return to my family and my wealth!

And the disbeliever is asked in their grave: Who is your Lord? They reply: Allah!

Then they are asked: Who is your prophet? They reply: Muhammad!

Then they are asked: What is your religion? They reply: Islam!

Then they are asked: How did you come to know this? They reply: I heard people saying it, so I said it too! Then they are struck with a club that, if gathered by the jinn and humans, they could not withstand. They melt like lead, and their soul is returned to them. Their heart is placed between two plates of fire. They say: O Lord! Delay the establishment of the Hour!

4⃣قال أبوعبدالله علیه السلام یُسْأَلُ الْمَیِّتُ فی قَبْرِهِ عَنْ خَمْسٍ عَنْ صَلَاتِهِ و زَکَاتِهِ و حَجِّهِ وَ صِیَامِهِ وَ وَلَایَتِهِ إِیَّانَا أَهْلَ الْبَیْتِ فَتَقُولُ الْوَلَایَةُ عَنْ جَانِبِ الْقَبْرِ لِلْأَرْبَعِ مَا دَخَلَ فِیکُنَّ مِنْ نَقْصٍ فَعَلَیَّ تَمَامُه

Imam Sadiq (peace be upon him) said: The deceased is questioned in their grave about five things: their prayer, their zakat, their Hajj, their fasting, and their allegiance to us, the Ahlul Bayt. The allegiance stands by the grave and says to the other four: Any deficiency in you, I will complete it!
