✅ Consider the following narrations:

1⃣عَنِ الْعَلَاءِ بْنِ الْفُضَیْلِ عَنْ أَبِی عَبْداللَّه قَال: إِذَا تَوَضَّأَ أَحَدُکُمْ وَ لَمْ یُسَمِّ کَانَ لِلشَّیْطَانِ فِی وُضُوئِهِ شِرْکٌ وَ إِنْ أَکَلَ أَوْ شَرِبَ أَوْ لَبِسَ وَ کُلَّ شَیْءٍ صَنَعَهُ یَنْبَغِی لَهُ أَنْ یُسَمِّیَ عَلَیْهِ فَإِنْ لَمْ یَفْعَلْ کَانَ لِلشَّیْطَانِ فِیهِ شِرْکٌ

📚 Al-Mahasin, p. 46, Hadith 62

Imam Sadiq (a.s) said: "When one of you performs ablution and does not say 'بِسْمِ اللَّهِ' (In the name of Allah), Satan is a partner in his ablution. If he eats or drinks or does anything, it is appropriate for him to say 'بِسْمِ اللَّهِ' (In the name of Allah), and if he does not do so, Satan is a partner in it!"

2⃣عَنْ زَیْدٍ الشَّحَّامِ عَنْ أَبِی عَبْداللَّهِ قَالَ: إِذَا تَوَضَّأَ أَحَدُکُمْ أَوْ أَکَلَ أَوْ شَرِبَ أَوْ لَبِسَ لِبَاساً یَنْبَغِی لَهُ أَنْ یُسَمِّیَ عَلَیْهِ فَإِنْ لَمْ یَفْعَلْ کَانَ لِلشَّیْطَانِ فِیهِ شِرْکٌ

Imam Sadiq (a.s) said: "When one of you performs ablution or eats or drinks or wears clothes, it is appropriate for him to say 'بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمنِ الرَّحِیمِ' (In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful). If he does not do so, Satan will be a partner in it!"

3⃣عَنِ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ عَلِیٍّ العسکری عن آبَائِهِ عَنْ عَلِیٍّ فِی حَدِیثٍ قَالَ: إِنَّ اللَّهَ یَقُولُ أَنَا أَحَقُّ مَنْ سُئِلَ وَ أَوْلَی مَنْ تُضُرِّعَ إِلَیْهِ فَقُولُوا عِنْدَ افْتِتَاحِ کُلِّ أَمْرٍ صَغِیرٍ وَ عَظِیمٍ بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمنِ الرَّحِیمِ- أَیْ أَسْتَعِینُ عَلَی هَذَا الْأَمْرِ بِاللَّهِ الَّذِی لَا تَحِقُّ الْعِبَادَةُ لِغَیْرِهِ الْمُغِیثِ إِذَا اسْتُغِیثَ...

📚 Al-Tawhid, p. 232

Amir al-Mu'minin (a.s) said in a hadith: "Indeed, Allah says: 'I am the most worthy to be questioned and the most worthy to be invoked, so at the beginning of every small and large matter, say "بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمنِ الرَّحِیمِ" (In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful)," meaning:

At the beginning of any matter, invoke Allah, who is not deserving of worship other than Him, and when in need, I seek refuge with Him!"

4⃣ الْحَسَنُ بْنُ عَلِیٍّ الْعَسْکَرِیُّ فِی تَفْسِیرِهِ عَنْ آبَائِهِ عَنْ عَلِیٍّ فِی حَدِیثٍ قال إِنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ حَدَّثَنِی عَنِ اللَّهِ عَزَّوَجَلَّ أَنَّهُ قَالَ کُلُّ أَمْرٍ ذِی بَالٍ لَا یُذْکَرُ بِسْمِ اللَّهِ فِیهِ فَهُوَ أَبْتَر

📚 Tafsir al-Imam al-Askari (a.s), p. 24-25

Amir al-Mu'minin (a.s) said in a hadith: "The Messenger of Allah (s.a.w.w) informed me in a tradition from Allah, the Almighty, who said: 'Any deed that is important and does not mention "بِسْمِ اللَّهِ" (In the name of Allah) in it is cut off and discontinued!'"

5⃣عن عبدالرحمن بن کثیر قال: کُنْتُ عند أَبِی عَبْداللَّه جَالِساً فَذَکَرَ شِرْکَ الشَّیْطَان فَعَظَّمَهُ حَتَّی أَفْزَعَنِی قُلْتُ جُعِلْتُ فِدَاکَ فما الْمَخْرَجُ مِنْ ذَلِکَ فقال إِذَا أَرَدْتَ الْجِمَاعَ فَقُلْ بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِیمِ الَّذِی لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا هُوَ بَدِیعُ السَّمَاوَاتِ و الْأَرْضِ اللَّهُمَّ إِنْ قَضَیْتَ مِنِّی فی هَذِهِ اللَّیْلَةِ خَلِیفَةً فَلَا تَجْعَلْ لِلشَّیْطَانِ فِیهِ شِرْکاً وَ لَا نَصِیباً و لَا حَظّاً و اجْعَلْهُ مُؤْمِناً مُخْلِصاً مُصَفًّی مِنَ الشَّیْطَانِ و رِجْزِهِ جَلَّ ثَنَاؤُک

📚 Al-Kafi, Vol. 5, p. 503

Abd al-Rahman narrated: "I was sitting with Imam Sadiq (a.s) when he mentioned the participation of Satan and considered it great to the point that it terrified me! So I said, 'May I be your ransom! What is the way out and salvation from it?!' The Imam replied: 'When you intend to have sexual intercourse, say: بِسْمِ اللَّهِ' (In the name of Allah)."

بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِیمِ الَّذِی لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا هُوَ بَدِیعُ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَ الْأَرْضِ اللَّهُمَّ إِنْ قَضَیْتَ مِنِّی فِی هَذِهِ اللَّیْلَةِ خَلِیفَةً فَلَا تَجْعَلْ لِلشَّیْطَانِ فِیهِ شِرْکاً وَ لَا نَصِیباً وَ لَا حَظّاً وَ اجْعَلْهُ مُؤْمِناً مُخْلِصاً مُصَفًّی مِنَ الشَّیْطَانِ وَ رِجْزِهِ جَلَّ ثَنَاؤُکَ

6⃣عَنِ الحلبی قال: قال أَبُوعَبْداللَّه فی الرَّجُلِ إِذَا أَتَی أَهْلَهُ و خَشِیَ أَنْ یُشَارِکَهُ الشَّیْطَانُ قَالَ یَقُولُ بِسْمِ اللَّهِ وَ یَتَعَوَّذُ بِاللَّهِ مِنَ الشَّیْطَان

📚 Al-Kafi, Vol. 5, p. 502

Imam Sadiq (a.s) said regarding a man who goes to his wife and is afraid that Satan may participate with him: "Say: بِسْمِ اللَّهِ" (In the name of Allah) and 'أَعُوذُ بِاللَّهِ مِنَ الشَّیْطَانِ الرَّجِیمِ' (I seek refuge with Allah from the accursed Satan)."
