The mention of

✅ "Hawqala" or "Hawlaqa" refers to the supplication "لَا حَوْلَ وَ لَا قُوَّةَ إِلَّا بِاللَّهِ" (La hawla wa la quwwata illa billah), which is a phrase that has numerous rewards and benefits according to various narrations:

1⃣الحسین بْنِ عُلْوان الْکَلْبِیِّ عَنْ جَعْفَرٍ قَالَ: سَأَلْتُهُ عَنْ تَفْسِیرِ لَا حَوْلَ وَ لَا قُوَّةَ إِلَّا بِاللَّهِ- قَالَ لَا یَحُولُ بَیْنَنَا وَ بَیْنَ الْمَعَاصِی إِلَّا اللَّهُ وَ لَا یُقَوِّینَا عَلَی أَدَاءِ الطَّاعَةِ وَ الْفَرَائِضِ إِلَّا اللَّهُ

📚 Al-Mahasin, p. 42

Husayn ibn 'Alwan says: "I asked Imam al-Baqir (a.s) about the interpretation of 'لَا حَوْلَ وَ لَا قُوَّةَ إِلَّا بِاللَّهِ' (There is no power nor strength except through Allah). The Imam said: 'It means that between us and our sins, no one except Allah can prevent, and no one except Allah can give us the strength to perform acts of obedience and fulfill duties!'

2⃣عَنِ السَّکُونِیِّ عَنْ أَبِی عَبْداللَّه عَنْ آبَائِهِ قَالَ فِی حَدِیثٍ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ مَنْ أَلَحَّ عَلَیْهِ الْفَقْرُ فَلْیُکْثِرْ مِنْ قَوْلِ لَا حَوْلَ وَ لَا قُوَّةَ إِلَّا بِاللَّهِ یَنْفِی عَنْهُ الْفَقْر

The Prophet Muhammad (s.a.w.w) said: "When a person is overwhelmed by poverty, he should frequently say: 'لَا حَوْلَ وَ لَا قُوَّةَ إِلَّا بِاللَّهِ' (There is no power nor strength except through Allah) so that poverty can be removed from him."

3⃣عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عِمْرَانَ عَنْ أَبِی عَبْداللَّه قال: قال رَسُولُ اللَّهِ إِذَا قَالَ الْعَبْدُ لَا حَوْلَ وَ لَا قُوَّةَ إِلَّا بِاللَّهِ فَقَدْ فَوَّضَ أَمْرَهُ إِلَی اللَّهِ وَ حَقٌّ عَلَی اللَّهِ أَنْ یَکْفِیَهُ

The Prophet Muhammad (s.a.w.w) said: "When a servant says: 'لَا حَوْلَ وَ لَا قُوَّةَ إِلَّا بِاللَّهِ' (There is no power nor strength except through Allah), he has entrusted his affairs to Allah, and it is the right of Allah to suffice him."

4⃣عن هِشَامِ بْنِ سَالِمٍ عَنْ أَبِی عَبْداللَّه الصَّادِقِ قال: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ إِنَّ آدَمَ شَکَا إِلَی اللَّهِ مَا یَلْقَی مِنْ حَدِیثِ النَّفْسِ وَ الْحُزْنِ فَنَزَلَ عَلَیْهِ جَبْرَئِیلُ فَقَالَ لَهُ یَا آدَمُ قُلْ لَا حَوْلَ وَ لَا قُوَّةَ إِلَّا بِاللَّهِ فَقَالَهَا فَذَهَبَ عَنْهُ الْوَسْوَسَةُ وَ الْحُزْنُ

📚 Amali al-Saduq, p. 436

The Prophet Muhammad (s.a.w.w) said: "Indeed, Prophet Adam (a.s) complained to Allah about what he had received regarding his soul and his grief. Then, Gabriel (a.s) descended to him and said: 'O Adam! Say: لَا حَوْلَ وَ لَا قُوَّةَ إِلَّا بِاللَّهِ' (There is no power nor strength except through Allah).' So he said it, and his worries and grief were lifted."

5⃣عن هِشَامِ بْنِ احمر قَالَ سَمِعْتُ أَبَا عبدالله یَقُولُ مَنْ قَالَ لَا حَوْلَ وَ لَا قُوَّةَ إِلَّا بِاللَّهِ الْعَلِیِّ الْعَظِیمِ دَفَعَ اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَ جَلَّ بِهَا عَنْهُ تِسْعَةً وَ سَبعِینَ نَوْعاً مِنَ الْبَلَاءِ أَیْسَرُهَا الْخَنْقُ

📚 Thawab al-A'mal, p. 194

Hisham says: "I heard Imam al-Sadiq (a.s) saying: 'Anyone who says:

لَا حَوْلَ وَ لَا قُوَّةَ إِلَّا بِاللَّهِ الْعَلِیِّ الْعَظِیمِ

"Allah, the Almighty, through it wards off 79 types of afflictions, and the least of them is suffocation."

6⃣عن مَسْعَدَةَ بْنِ صَدَقَةَ عَنِ الصَّادِقِ عَنْ آبَائِهِ قَالَ قال رَسُولُ اللَّهِ: قَوْلُ لَا حَوْلَ وَ لَا قُوَّةَ إِلَّا بِاللَّهِ فِيهَا شِفَاءٌ مِنْ تِسْعَةٍ وَ تِسْعِينَ دَاءً أَدْنَاهَا الْهَمُ

📚 Qurb al-Isnad, p. 37

The Prophet Muhammad (s.a.w.w) said: "In the saying 'لَا حَوْلَ وَ لَا قُوَّةَ إِلَّا بِاللَّهِ' (There is no power nor strength except through Allah), there is a cure for 99 diseases, and the least of them is grief."

7⃣عَنِ الرِّضَا عَنْ آبَائِهِ علیهم السلام قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلی الله علیه و آله: مَنْ حَزَنَهُ أَمْرٌ فَلْیَقُلْ لَا حَوْلَ وَ لَا قُوَّةَ إِلَّا بِاللَّهِ

The Prophet Muhammad (s.a.w.w) said: "Anyone who is afflicted by a difficulty should say: 'لَا حَوْلَ وَ لَا قُوَّةَ إِلَّا بِاللَّهِ' (There is no power nor strength except through Allah)."

8⃣ جابر عَنْ أَبِی جَعْفَرٍ علیه السلام قال قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلی الله علیه و آله: مَنْ قَالَ بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمنِ الرَّحِیمِ- وَ لَا حَوْلَ وَ لَا قُوَّةَ إِلَّا بِاللَّهِ الْعَلِیِّ الْعَظِیمِ ثَلَاثَ مَرَّاتٍ کَفَاهُ اللَّهُ تِسْعَةً وَ تِسْعِینَ نَوْعاً مِنْ أَنْوَاعِ الْبَلَاءِ أَیْسَرُهَا الْخَنْقُ

The Prophet Muhammad (s.a.w.w) said: "Anyone who says three times:

بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمنِ الرَّحِیمِ وَ لَا حَوْلَ وَ لَا قُوَّةَ إِلَّا بِاللَّهِ الْعَلِیِّ الْعَظِیمِ

"Allah will suffice him against 99 types of afflictions, and the least of them is suffocation!"
